发现女孩似乎吃回头草的不少啊。我听表姐说过她一个朋友一件事：这个朋友和他女朋友
是大学同学。2人大一时就好上了。男的是本科，女的是大专，同级。女的毕业后去了LUC
ENT，男的大四快毕业时，那女的就和
LUCENT一个高层的美籍台湾人好上了。男的别太伤心绝望。结婚后，那女的随台巴子去了
北京LUCENT在塞特的总部。再后来那女的又和台巴子离婚了，又和这男的好了，现在2人
结婚了，和和，有点儿不可思义。

发帖数: 256 | 9 我在一中小consulting firm(60人），我们公司life/health/P&C都做。我开始的几个
月做health,当时主要是做medicare/medicaid bid,rating filing, pricing;后来life
那边有人离职，被转成full time life直到现在。
平时（3月到9月）不忙，不用加班，平均每天有2个小时non-billable；不过到了年底
，year-end,CFT 一起，几乎没有study time,晚上周末也搭上，不过也就每周50个小时
左右。
感觉能做到partner的话钱景还是很乐观的，年底的bonus据说可能是整年工资的倍数（
N=1,2，...,具体的俺也不清楚），非parnter的话就靠考试的raise，每年年底加N%,整
个package在dwsimpon中等水平。life的多数是老客户，一般都是做CFT，apprisal之类
的，一年也就一两次；health不太清楚明细，感觉像是新生力量，最近一直有新客户。
travel的话，有些partner喜欢时不时拜访客户，或者开会做presentation， 据说这也

in the end though, it could fail to deliver.
and what have we learned about CFTs we didn't know without
AdS/CFT in terms of field theory? and why the many attempts
to derive it so far look very surely bound for failure?
it's not a belief system, is it?

then I could say that there is no active field in condensed matter theory.:)
Let me give one simple example of something we know from AdS/CFT about the
field theory, that is almost certainly true, but has not been possible to
derive directly using field theory techniques: the free energy of N=4 SYM at
finite temperature in the strong 't Hooft coupling limit. Note that the

我有个同事那天晚上汽车被stuck在路上, 带着一岁多的娃走了一个多mile回家。我昨
天早上出小区的时候，有个上坡路的一旁停了好多车，应该都是被stuck的，多数是
