是个conf champ。
所以我老就一直认为，最好应该让conf champ去，但是这个也不是没有漏洞。例如今年
PSU的常规赛西区赛程就明显比我迷和他盖要弱很多。最好还是干脆取消联盟冠军赛，
直接联赛排名算了。 |

USTA Eastern National Finals just finished 2 weeks ago in Puerto Rico. There
were total of 8 teams from each level(6.0 to 10.0) qualified, each
representing their respective sections in Eastern US.
I said NJ is a tough region because there are many qualified teams came from
NJ, 2 x 7.0 teams (one is middle states section Champ, the other is Eastern
section champ), one 8.0 team, one 9.0 team.

就开打，结果前几拍觉得特别重特别硬，把我给吓到了。penn champ hard court在TW
上居然一个review也没有，好奇怪。dunlop champ hard court据说最近两年质量明显
下降，所以就没考虑了。
这个grandprix就是在同一价格范围内（24罐55-60刀），所以很好奇是不是相对最好的。 |

，于是上前问可不可以去他发我接。就这样，他发我接了一会儿。然后他要同我来几个
tiebreakers。就打了3个tiebreakers，我1:2输掉了。问他是几级的，他是他是Super
Champ，没定级别。互留了电话，因为他妈希望我和这孩子有时间来一起打一打。
两天后去和他打了一会儿，warm up后，又来了3个tiebreakers，这次我2:1赢他了。这
孩子净赢别人了，不习惯输球，输的他叽歪的，差点哭了。他要回家去做homework，没
时间打更长时间。
几天后又约出来。这次又时间打了一个full set，结果我的状态差一点，他又好一点，
搞的我是1:6大败。
他是14岁的孩子里，我见过的最厉害的。我另一个朋友来了看到了我和这孩子打，说我
也比2-3年前进步好多，能和这么厉害的孩子对攻，很不容易。他还说，这个孩子要比
他17岁的儿子厉害。他17岁的儿子也一直在学网球，也是高中校队的。
现在我也没明白，这14岁的孩子，是这个地区的Super Champ，那他就没有x.x定级了？

the defending champ were stunned and did not know what hit them. they were
completed unprepared. between their men's #1,2,3 courts, they only managed
to get 2 games from us. 6-1, 6-0, 6-1. haha...

slazenger基本上一个月也比penn champ第三次有气
但是一个月，球毛早磨没了
于是变成了那种铁蛋一样小小的气很足的“炸弹”球

都是又平又低，很难进攻的。
我打球也碰到过一个老头的削球高手，也是个club的champ,很胖，跑动不行，但是削球
非常转，非常低，很难进攻。

我记得曾写过这个故事了：我们俩老家伙打４.５被淘汰到下一败胜组（４.０），那队
孩子同样（但他们是国家冠军带的学生，要求一律从４.５组打起），结果，我们最后
争４。０冠军，两各孩子技术功夫比我俩强０.５不止，可还是没能识破老油条得诡计
，被我俩６：３，６：３打掉了，孩子只拿到$５０的奖金，我俩把孩子得零花钱就这
么骗走啦。。。。。。。
要不是收音机说来，我都没坦白忏悔之心呐。。。。。。。

many teams, esp strong one and aim at champs, they have many sandbaggers, so
, at regular, or even regional/sectional, they use 2nd tier guys, and to
champs or nationals, they start use their big weapons who might tank at
regular or play-off seasons. these kind of things happen every where, and
all know it......

stack sizes: limper got 70BB, champ got 20K, i got 30K. BB is another factor
too, he and i got long history, there was a small chance he could come
abord if i flatted since the whole table was targeting at the calling
station's nice stack.
i was fully expecting champ to call or shove me after that 5x. he's way more
disciplined, i have to say.

这次去出差，顺便周末在巴黎游玩一次，简单的一些记录，不很认真，所以请见谅没有
太多细节。因为是出差，宾馆是公司指定的，就在凡尔赛宫的门口，好处是离凡尔赛宫
近，坏处是所有东西都是旅游景点的高价，宾馆的早餐26欧，如果是个人出钱会吐血，
早餐品种比较多，看个人品味。
出行的话很简单，个人推荐买week pass，地铁和bus全包，因为住在Versailles，所以
要贵些，巴黎市内1-3区的要便宜些。 凡尔赛有两个火车站，Versailles Chateau
Rive Gauche靠近凡尔赛宫，另一个Versailles-Chantiers要多走20分钟，而且火车到
两个站的是不同的，别弄错了。市内交通比较简单，地铁基本上通所有主要景点，看清
楚站就好了。有时会要换乘，需要在地下走比较远。
换钱是个麻烦事，尽量用credit card， 因为手续费很高（>～15%）。
我的游程基本靠走，第一天坐地铁到Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris 巴黎圣母院，
地铁站是Saint-Michel。教堂内是免费的，去塔顶需要排队买票。出来后过河沿河向

biggest vb event in the world. 5 age groups, over 100 teams per group. this
year is in baltimore, MD. Only 5 teams in each group will go to national
champ. in Texas in june.
i went with one philly junior team to there for three days. i saw over 600
players participated in the 3-hour try-out for national junior team's high
performance summer camp, only less than 1% of them will be selected.

本上就代表最初级,通常不会出现这两个级别同设的情况,除非组委会想赚钱想疯了.
NOVICE 就有点复杂.基本的意思是不限制舞步, 但是在不同的比赛会是完全不同的水准.
有些比赛里NOVICE 代表初级, 有些比赛里NOVICE基本代表PRE PRE-CHAMP, 也就是说介于
GOLD和PRECHAMP之间,但是用NOVICE取代PRECHAMP的情况不多. 到底一个比赛NOVICE是什
么水平,我通常用两个办法判断,一是根据比赛大小数数总共几个级别的比赛,算算NOVICE
排第几, 二是看看去年的比赛结果NOVICE和PRECHAMP有那些人参加. AMATEUR的圈子太小
了,基本上PRECHAMP/CHAMP的人都是那么些名字.
在目前USABDA的规则里,NOVICE是任何SYLLABUS选手都可以报名的,但大赛中又基本等同
PRE PRECHAMP, 所以前一阵关于如何处理NOVICE还有一些争论,一派意见是直接把NOVICE
作为GOLD和PRECHAMP之间的一级,那么B |

competing in the amateur circle. i don't know much about his background in
latin, but this partnership (and the girl) is definitely predominantly
standard. therefore they would not have enough points to place out of pre-
champ latin yet. they probably figure that there'll be more competition in mit
open than hotlanta (that's for sure) so opt for pre-champ.
