我爸爸今年55岁了,吸烟大概将近有40年了.(高中的时候抽烟还被学校给了个留校察看)
他现在每天都至少抽2盒(40支) 如果晚上打麻将的话,估计能上4盒
虽然说抽了这么多年没出什么病,年年体检显示身体还算健康,但所有人还是希望让他把
烟戒了.
之前在walmart给他买了好多戒烟糖回去,可惜效果不是很明显. 他说只是烟的口感稍微
有些变化.但还是爱抽啊...
所以他想让我在米国这里买些chantix这种药给他拿回去.
我查过一些信息,知道这个是需要Rx的.
所以想问一下各位,如果我给医生说我抽烟,好弄到chantix么?
到哪里能找到愿意给我rx的医生? 去hospital? 小诊所? 怎么才能找到正确的医生?
如果拿到Rx了,到哪里买药? (CVS和walgreen好像都没有这个药,至少我在他们的网站上
搜不到)

不過，藥品評價處主管若斯布羅夫（Curt Rosebraugh）稱，患者不用害怕，更不需要

but to bluetree, the 2 most common drugs used for smoking cessation are
bupropion (brand name is Zyban) and Chantix. Chantix is the newer drug, got
approved in 2006 I think. Both drugs are pretty expensive without insurance. |

drugs like Zyban or Chantix. By the way, FDA issued a public health advisory
on chantix in february of this year, and patients need to be monitored for
depressed mood, suicidal ideation, etc. |
