吼一个哭，一个the教了不下一个月，劳力伤神。
然后突然某一天发现她能自己拿本简单的书从头读到尾了。现在也开始读简单的
charpter书了（就是读书馆里level ２，一本书有５个charpter的，不知道算不算

charpter book为了吸引小孩读，用词和用句简单，相反没有图画书句式复杂，词汇量
大。还有，charpter book ,家长很难check understanding。我女儿学校每星期都发不
通Level的书回来读，level 24 到38 的书我看长度都差不多，但是语法，和词汇就差
很远了。 |

长大一点后就都会学会的。
我女儿一年级时单词都不认得几个。在二年级时突然爱上读书了，很快没几个月阅读突
飞猛进啊，两天就能都完一本charpter book.（我汗一下，，我都没耐心读完）。
培养学习兴趣更重要。 |

阅读绝对不是哈利波特那种大部头书。 就是专门给小孩的charpter book。还是自己去

will read so that is not really a waste -- but the second one has his own
favorite, doesn't even want to touch those books.
Agree with some posts above. The picture book is more attractive than the
charpter one in magic school serials. At least my second read those :-) |

一来他们学校学费年年涨，但跟周围孩子上公校的妈妈聊天，不觉得私校比公校学的
advance多少；而且公校从一年级就开始写journal，做project，他们这个私校基本上
没让写过journal，project上面也没什么要求，到现在就做过2个读书的。
二来觉得孩子不是那种特别聪明的。虽然学校教了cents，quarter，dollar的概念，现
在给她几个quarter还弄不清楚多少。。。诸如这样的例子很多，有时候虽然不停地告
诉自己不用着急，可私下里难免沮丧。就象另一篇文章里有个妈妈说的，很难接受自己
的孩子不聪明甚至有点笨 （估计要挨不少砖 ：( ）
有人说小学要培养孩子的学习习惯。可这习惯跟学校关系不大 -- 现在孩子每天都要催
着才学习，中文更是要各种方法用尽才愿意写，多写一点都不愿意。读书 -- 一直希望
她能养成爱读书的习惯，但是也要有各种incentive才愿意坐下来看，而且看一个最多
两个charpter就再也坐不住了。我有时候都怀疑她有多动症。每天晚上我都把自己的时

transfer后会re-subject to 2year hhr，所以不能transfer。但是今天跟学校管j1的
人聊的时候，她找到一个条文说只要transfer过去的合同结束日期是
在旧DS表的结束日期之前，就不需要新的waive。详文和来源如下：

其实independent citation 的只有27.是我的弱项
我觉得没必要单独claim 这一项。因为前3个claim已经够了。第4个或者全部删掉，或

帮我评估一下.
我目前paper一共13篇, 都是英文.其中一做共5篇,这5篇中有2篇是filed里的top
journal (IF>10). 有一片paper发表后,先后有5个lab来email要我做的实验材料. book
charpter一章.
citation刚过100(不包括自引), review>20次, 8个journal. 由于博士期间很少开会,
没有大会persentation,但有2个travel award, 4,5 个abstract
专利一个
去年我刚申请过NIW, I140已经过了.
请问大家像我这个情况,如果申请EB1A , 成功机会大吗? 多谢了 |
