续签，想问一下有没有之前被check过然后去加拿大续签的朋友？在加拿大被check了吗

在NYC的公司做的暑期实习，也算是很大型的Fortune500美资企业了，可是不知道为什
么，公司的传统是interns不能直接direct deposit，从来都是月底发check
直接到手上。最后一个pay check，因为summer internship是月中结束的，离开公司的
时候还没有到发工资的时候。然后就搬回在New Jersey的家里。但是一直没有收到最后
小半个月的pay check。中间偶又搬到新的住址，早就发了邮件提醒compensation
office新的地址。compensation accounting 部门回信的职员每次都回信挺慢的，也从
来没告诉过我什么时候check寄出到新的地址。
今天（10月22）突然发信告诉我，19日已经有人把他们发出的那张check cash out了。
我现在连信封的影子都没有见到，很明显的有人拆了我的信盗领。我应该怎么联系公司
方面，最大程度挽回这笔我应得的钱呢？以前从来没有遇见过支票被盗领的情况，而且
我也从未收到envelope |

新公司要人要的比较紧，我接受offer后10天他们才开始background check，现在所有
都齐全了，就差中国的criminal check，我催了公司几次了，公司也催了background
check公司，但一直就是没消息，新公司的hr让我现在先通知现在的雇主辞职，可以先
去上班，但要签一个协议，如果中国的criminal check有问题的话，employment还是会
terminate。大家觉得我应该同意吗？其实我现在的工作也挺舒服的，实在不想去冒这
个险，万一那边过来的报告有问题的话就亏大了。想让新公司把start date再延一下，
但新公司会不会觉得我过渡担心，因为也就只差中国的部分了。今天就要回复他们，大
家指教一下。 |

刚才给FBI打了电话，说FP当天打了，当天就把结果返回给USCIS了。
然后给USCIS打电话，officer说看到已经打了FP，但是case还是pending，pending
means a decision has not been made...
我问能不能看到name check, FP check是不是clear，人家告诉我，说他们data base看
不到。
按pjiang的帖子里打了USCIS name check，没有6那步的option了。
大家现在都是怎么查name check的结果的？
怎么知道自己的case是不是已经被分到VO手里做adudication了呢？ |

了个下午的infopass。officer很nice地告诉我2个多月，太短了，至少要a year。我晕！
我说我的case至今不能check status，他帮我查，也不显示。我说我很担心我的case，
他告诉我不要担心，只要你收到receive notice,就说明你的case已经在processing了
，至于为什么网上查不到状态，可能是系统没有更新的缘故。我说你能帮我看看我的
name check过了吗，他犹豫了一下，我加了一句，说对我的case我不能得到任何的
information,甚至网上都check不到status,我请他理解我,他就帮我查，然后摇着头说
我的name check not clear yet。我晕！

1. 我们说的name check，人家叫background check。
2. background check从打了指纹开始进行，这就是为啥walkin 有助于加快GC的批准。
3. background check完成之后，需要等待assign一个IO，说very soon就会assign。（
我现在就在这个阶段）
4. 搬家/改地址会延缓FP，也会延缓指定IO，因此会延缓GC的审批。
5. 我查了近一年的case，基本上可以推算出background check大概需要1周到4周的时
间。如果顺利，大部分case会在FP后2周到5周批准或是RFE。
6. 如果RFE，则要受到材料后需要重新排队等候指定IO。
7. 关于指定IO之后，IO的速度。紧根据Pijiang的说法（关于distribution和
adjustment的协调），被指定的IO通常是比较空的，应该是会马上处理case。
8. 关于“case被当茶杯垫或是别的什么”的说法，我自己感觉是现在移民局的case都
是计算机处理，通常在交485的时候，就有人扫描了输入了你的基本信息和... 阅读全帖 |

infopass，因为我们是concurrent,被告知已经在IO手里了，name check 已经过了，

FBI的数据库做的name check，那个name check和买枪的差不多，半天就搞定了，和485
的不是一回事。
想触发FBI name check不如去报名志愿者筛选好了，特别是涉及儿童的项目，一定会走

returned to the submitting agency as having "no record" within 48-72 hours.
然后：
A secondary manual search of residuals from the original run is conducted
within 10 days and identifies an additional number of names as a “no record

看来大部分NC在3天内就会自动完成(结果是“no record”的)并返回给USCIS。只有剩

TSC.（我在加州），之后一直没有消息，今天早上查银行记录，发现交上去的I-140的
check 显示：

（I-485 的钱是公司出的，以没法查）。
这算是被CASH了吗？ 另外 我从文学城上的文章上看到如果CHECK被CASH了， 我应该能
从CHECK 的背面找到RECEIPT NUMBER， 但是我这个看上去不像是CHECK 被 CASH了，
是ACH DEBIT， 没有CHECK 的IMAGE， 没法查号码. 只有一个CCDID ， 不知道是什么

H1B第六年extension，I-140已批PD 10/2012还没排到，律师file得太晚，过期前1个月
才Premium Processing提交的，结果PP不成功，USCIS回复说需要进一步review，到现
在提交了快8个月了，还在pending，没有RFE，没有任何更新。做过Service Inquiry，
InfoPass，找了Congressman和Senator，还没有回音。下个月就要到I94过期240天的大
限了，没法工作事小，万一突然说杯具，岂不是要马上卷铺盖回国？这一家人有老有小
的，真折腾啊。
看网上状态，很大可能是卡在LD那边了，LD的H4申请装是initial review，service

很多绿卡申请人在递交I-485申请之后，迟迟没有获得绿卡批准，究其原因是FBI Name
Check一直没有结果。其间，申请人个人和律师多次向USCIS询问申请进展，得到的回答
总是千篇一律的该申请正在等待FBI Name Check。等待时间超过1到2年的情况比较常见
，有的申请等待时间甚至长达5年以上。
除了消极等待，申请人真的没有别的方法了吗？其实申请人是有权利要求USCIS尽快批
准其申请的。如果申请人等待FBI Name Check时间过久，申请人就可以依据Mandamus
Action向当地法庭提出诉讼，要求申请尽快得到审批。该类诉讼申请人不需要上庭，诉
讼过程主要是通过双方律师进 行。

然后fbi check了一天，拿到枪后2星期，再次查询，议员说name check已过，准备

但是我还是不知道是否与买枪有关。
我的假设是，这类移民case，fbi可能内部priority不高，可能被放着慢慢处理，买枪

clear。于是回来后我立即联系FBI，现在刚刚收到FBI的回信，信中说，去年11月份FBI
就已经给USCIS发了我的name check的回应。而我太太的name check的回应2015年FBI就
发给USCIS了。

bounced back and the bank will charge you. That's why so many scam email to

99年的烤肉啦，老车了。去年换过一次coil
一直开着有点小毛病，就是加速的时候有时候车子会有点抖，加速不力，尤其是等红灯
之后提速的时候，这种现象尤其明显
今天中午在local开的时候突然出现加不上速，然后车有点发抖的感觉，紧接着check
engine灯开始闪！！以前有故障都是直接亮灯，从没闪过！！当时不知所措了几分钟，
正准备减速停车的时候突然变好了，check engine灯也灭了。一切也恢复正常了
下午回来查了一下，好像说check灯闪的话要立马检查，于是开去修车铺，开去的时候
引擎温度很高，就快要到红线了。到了修车铺修车师傅说check灯没亮，不好检查，然
后温度高是冷却水没了，加满水开回来的时候就好了，一切正常

见过你高速开，见过你加速减速等等的情况，才能各个项目都有历史数据才能告诉你

只要你的check engine light在ready之后才亮你就OK，哈哈
