先自我介绍一下，本人在加拿大住了4年，其中读书+工作，之后到美国工作5年。因为
工作需要出差的关系，把北美的各大城市几乎都跑了一个遍。去年年底一个偶然的机会
，拿到了一个回国的Offer，算是踏入了海归的行列。写这篇文章的目的，纯粹是为了
激励一下和我一样有海归期望的人。
大环境比较
现在的海归与否，已经和爱国无关。在一个世界大环境相对稳定的前提下，至少在
未来十年之内，我们看不到中美加有爆发大战的可能。现在的个人选择，都是在比较经

看到论坛里面一直有关于其他城市的小签面试过程，BUffalo的消息虽然很多，但是还
是有些模糊，正巧自己上个周末刚刚自己去了一趟水牛城递签证，现在分享一下我自己
的递签的过程，希望可以帮到自己去面签的朋友们.自己递交，当天可取。
材料：
1.银行存款证明 费用是7000刀上下，最好只多不少。
2.Money order for Multiple entry 150 dollars or single for 75 dollars，然
后银行的pay for 写 Canadian Consulate General 注意，他们不收个人支票信用卡
还有现金，除非你自己的moneyorder或者cashie's cheque被银行弄错了，你可以到楼
下取钱，给他们现金。
3.学校信，成绩单
4.你的护照
5.大签复印件，尽管你给护照的时候，大签已经在上面了，不过为了省事儿，也怕他们

就按照你说的发过去。告诉对方自己在找工作，可以附上对方面试确认的email。经济
能力附上最近三个月 chequing acount 的流水，并且强调你申请的是过境签只要等三
个小时,以防他搞错了签证类型。移民身份指的是啥…如果你没有在美国逾期居留那就
不是问题吧…说一下你在这边是啥身份然后强调你准备回国并且打算放弃在美国的身份
，如果我没理解错的话。你还可以让国内的父母或者同学证明一下他们会给你在国内提
供住处知道你找到工作为止，反正就是增加一点国内的 tie. 加拿大签证被拒掉是可以
起诉的，如果你把这些东西发过去他还是拒你的话基本上稳赢，不过vo也知道你不可能
闲的蛋疼去起诉…所以只能说是有希望把吧，不过也要做好第二首准备，改签啥的…
调档没必要做了。 |

pay cheque，还问我每年自己交的medical insurance，感觉
他们要综合我现在的收入开价。
问题1：
从始至终负责联系我的都是一个engineering manager，
没有hr参与，美国小公司都这样吗？
问题2：
我现在的医保就是国内的社保，一年没几个钱，这个给他们
说他们明白吗？不懂他们问我medical insurance的目的是什么？
问题3：
等到一个月后给offer的话，h1b申请还来得及吗？
问题4：
在跟对方谈工资是，参考salary.com的数据是不是靠谱？
这个网站的工资数目跟实际相比偏低还是偏高？

看房，递申请（通常要工资单，银行证明，护照或驾照，referee），交押金bond(
cheque to RTBA,一个政府机构，这个机构网站上也有很多租房相关事宜解答)和1个月
房租。
建议先联系短期（1个月）租别人的1间或者2间屋，到墨尔本后再自己找，建议先买车
后租房，哈哈，要不看房太累。
