voting by the International Olympic Committee, a stunningly swift defeat for
the U.S. bid personally pitched by President Barack Obama.

上个月底从加州中旅定的票,一切都很顺利,那个AGENT态度很好.我父母五一拿到票.今天F
AX过来给我看.我定的是UA直飞CHICAGO,再转RDU的,就是ONE-STOP.机票上也是这么写的.
为了确定,我打电话给UA,结果告诉我飞机是从三番入关,再到CHICAGO转RDU.我当时就懵了
.打电话给AGENT,她说她给我定的票是从CHICAGO入关的,可能是北京开票的人找不到位子,
就给改了.我真的很生气,要是转2次飞机,我也不用买UA的,就是图他ONE-STOP,少转一次父
母省点事.而且三番几点起飞也不知道(AGENT在帮我查,她也不确定).我们还特意在CHICAG
O给父母留了5个小时的转机时间,现在倒好,三番入关,也不知道有多少时间,在CHICAGO就
要傻等5个小时.如果不是我们确认机票,老人家还真会把三 |

去,想去Sea World, Legoland, Botanic Garden,whale/Dorphin watch and soem
beach activities,Two zoo 可能就跑马观花了.还有marine/aircraft musium, 不知道
所有这些门票加起来要多少. 还有住宿, 我在考虑budget,要一万吗? |

whale watch不知道季节过了没有。
楼上说的是正解。
Sea world，Zoo，SAFARI park，Balboa Park这些园子都非常大，一天能玩下来就不错。
海边，coronado岛一天，晒晒太阳，downtown+midway一天，走马观花。
时间充裕，还可以去disney一天。
宾馆，搜“hotel circle"，离seaworld，海边和城里都很近，那片有不少酒店。

发帖数: 392 | 43 前提是大二就懂Hodge theory，这个还是比较少的。当然我认识加知道一些03级以前的
大牛，都是在这个级别以上的，传说中YZW（你知道么）是大一念完线性代数以后就可
以干微分流形的，可见之前的gap在高中就念过的（当然就不提以前的tx,ny等bt了）
在我本科还在和交换代数搏斗的时候，我就知道高我一届的北大的几个人就开始组讨论
班念EGA了，而且他们的讨论班特别有体系和等级，三个不同难度的讨论班平行：EGA,
Hartshorne,Joe-Harris.（或者是叉开至多一学期）
其实现在浙大也很强，我去年认识一个第5年的phd，做Birational Geometry的，本科
浙大的，有3个preprint，有一个Advance。而且开会的时候问了暴多问题，非常active
。而现在的刚毕业的本科中，我认识一些念完Hartshorne以及做完绝大多数习题的。拓
扑几何也很牛，Bott and Tu的书，都是念过的，这样为GH做准备就很好了。我现在还
没有念完[Ha]，而且习题只做了刚好一半（正在互相蹂躏中……）
北大的老师都是不错的，尤其在培养学生方面，有个拓扑老师是Chicag |

there this Jan., they assigned one for me already. The training is pretty
exhausting, 8 hours a day with only one hour lunch break, and after that
most people will go out for fun, so I don't think roommate is a big issue. |

internal email address. Before the training, they will send out several
emails to remind you the pre-work etc, and those emails will be sent out as
group mail, so you can easily find another chinese's email address and
contact her. |
