，人可以选择过开心的生活，也可以选择过不开心的生活(sort of b*******).
这样的道理听太多了，就很容易麻木。可是看到最后一段的时候，里面说：
“每天你都能选择享受你的生命,或者是憎恨它，这是唯一一件真正属于你的权利，没有
人能够控制或夺去的东西”
忽然觉得这个话很有道理。
后来我师兄给我发了个email，说他今天的快乐经历。
说早上有两个Fedex guys来敲门，问：Are you he?我这个师兄就说，yah, i am him. 人
家说，我们来pick up你要寄的包裹呀。我师兄就很纳闷，没有要寄什么包裹啊。人家看
他犹豫，就又问,r u he?....
最后，人家要找的是一个姓何的GG。
其实这样的笑话闹的挺多的。我原来上课的时候，一个姓余的女孩子，老师点名的时候把
她漏了，她就举手，老师大概说了句什么话，让她报上名来，她就说，Y，U。老师很惊讶
的说，why me? of couse it's me to ask you that.

地图妹，season 那口破锅花了我无数时间精力，才发现像 cast iron 那样
season 一层油碳对中国炒菜方式是不行的。450F 的温度、carbon steel
光滑的表面、以及烧的时候还要倒水进去 (heat shock)，油碳层怎么都要
掉下来的。用盐 season 对 electric stove 不行，都会把锅子弄锈掉。偶
最后的办法是：(1) dry polish (不要水洗)，(2) heat 到铁变成灰蒙蒙。
(3) 上 cooking oil，450F brake 上去, (4) 700 - 800F 把油烧成碳，继续
把碳烧掉，然后铁锅就会 darken。冷却，洗洗，再涂一层油，就好了。
season 层应该是铁的氧化物。比铁硬，偶的 power po |

I am trying to construct a on line survey, in which I asked student to
pick all the courses that they like in a form then use an asp page to fetch
the information and update database. I listed the courses in a drop down list
and made it mutiple choice, but I couldn't get the selections from the form.
Could any one with experience with such script give me some suggestion or
sample code?

a simple case, if someone make change to some API in library, the problem
won't be found until you run if it's dynamic type. but for static language,
most problem and client code change can be found by compiler.

within 2 minnutes if it's involved a lot of reading and calculations. Feel
so stressful. In real test, are there many questions like that? Do you feel
improvement after read Becker and practice questions 2 or 3 times? Thanks a

Thank you. You advice makes sense. After my graduation, I went into the
finance field but only worked there for a month or so for some reason.
Choice #1 is a global company, #2 is completely local, #3 it's parent
company is European-based and has only representatives in China but no
office there(but I am thinking maybe they will open up new market in China
someday then i m in great standing...maybe im too positive) |

另外，Science's STKE 两年前才改为Science Signaling，也看不到具体的impact因子
，这个杂志的权威性怎样？

1. UIC的化工排在美国60左右。UNL我没查到相关排名，但UNL化工每年的研究经费在美
国工程院中排20。
2. UNL在Nebraska州的林肯市，经济以农业为主，城市很安全。UIC在芝加哥的心脏地
带，离市中心密歇根大道只有几百米，但你也知道，每个大城市也有它的安全隐患。
3. 导师的性格这个东西我觉得真的只有去了才知道，UNL这个导师我陶瓷陶了很久，基
本上是他不忙的时候就会回复我的问题，感觉人不错，年龄大概在50左右。UIC的导师
由于来过几次我现在实验室，听师兄说人不错，年龄也大概在50左右。
4. UNL给我的奖学金为一年19,200USD，学费全免。UIC给我一年21,400USD，学费也全
面。
我现在心理面很纠结。一方面我觉得UNL导师的项目大，搞Biomedical engine |

随意的random error term的二元选择模型。文献显示前些年一些文章是使用Hermite
Series来拟合密度函数的， 后来又出现了傅立叶series来拟合。 最近还有用Legendre
polynomials来做的， 据说有很多好处。 不知道哪位高手熟悉这方面的研究的， 能
说说这些方法的优缺点。 先谢了！ |
