我前段时间也在找teaching job, 也去 community college 面试过，最后没有拿到。
我的感觉是，teaching job 就是要找人教书，根本不关心你做的什么研究，发过多少
文章。更关心你为什么想教书，能教什么课程。
我建议
1） 你认真想想这几个问题。
2） 找 teaching 的机会，提高 communication skill (包括口语，表达，倾听等等)。
3） 经常去 http://chronicle.com 的论坛上看看，比在这里问能找到更多关于teaching school的信息。
另外八一个， 去 community college 面试的时候，遇到一个年轻的美国人，跟我算同
行，最近刚在 Yale 拿了个 phd. 什么世道，Yale 的 Phd 跑去 community college
教书。不知道他会不会跳槽到别的四年制 college 去。 |

onsite的dept head询问，结果他鼓励我申请，说虽然不是我的领域，但我有这个minor
（我自己都没想到）
。他可能对我前一次onsite印象还不错吧。又onsite了一次。过了一个月还是没消息，
问了他一下，他说再过几个星期，他们还
在面人。现在已经两个月了。是不是基本就是黄了？是不是就不要去烦人家了？看到
chronicle上有人问这个问题，其他人都回答说那样很annoying，或者说现在都是别人
control了，不管你啥事了，去了onsite了就当没这回事了，不然自己会很难受云云。
另外除了chronicle，还有什么地方有美国人的faculty论坛？想多学习学习。

，从十月初联系我，到 offer, 就两周。那几个大公司的 on-campus interview还都没
开始。也算是 hot startup,但这里肯定没人知道的，移民版知道这个公司的更多些。
就不透露公司的名字和考题了，见谅。
HR 联系之后，先是组里的头直接电面，问了一个他们实践中的问题，我没想出答案，
但还是扯了扯。后来就在谈公司做什么，我有准备，问了很多问题。刚放下电话,HR问
我什么时候作 coding test, 可以马上把题发给我, 就是fill Java class, 实现某些
功能，一般给 2-3个小时。我想这么大工作量，不能拖，否则牵扯时间和精力，就说马
上作，决定不准备了，冒一定风险。结果一个小时做完发给他们，小impress了一下。
然后另一个 team lead 马上打电话二面，顺便考察一下是不是真是我自己写的程序。
这就是一天三面，两电一编程，然后就给 onsite了。面了组里的4个lead,HR 和
