一个人种。。。美国的什么中餐美食协会评的东西也不见得权威啊，就拿很多个这些协
会来说，中餐百佳吧，去参加评选都是要给钱的，houston chronicle，houston press
这些，就不用给钱。
alison cook写了40多年的houston美食，在houston chronicle担任美食主编也有10年
之久，在写food criticism上得过不少奖，应该算houston美食圈很权威的人了。但说
到底alison cook也只是代表她自己的一个人，我想她自己也绝对不可能会说她觉得最
好的100家餐馆就一定是所有人认为最好的100家餐馆，所以，just take her words as
a grain of salt, or just a reference if you'd like喽～你不看她写的，也可以

restaurant: sushi miyagi，就在中国城，日本人经营的（大部分日本店其实都是中国
人经营的 = =|||），去过best thai: thai gourmet，服务很不错，食物嘛可能是我对
泰国餐没什么鉴赏能力，是好是坏不太清楚，不过他们的thai tea那是非常非常绝的！

I ordered some old games like Valkyria Chronicles, found it really good game
, and the same time play Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Persona3 Portable on PSP.
Pre-ordered wii game Metroid Prime-the Other M (Team Ninja is involved), it
will come 8-31.
for fall games, hoping the Konami castlevania new franchise wouldn't let me
down , at least Hideo Kojima group is involved. Don't think The last

介绍一下Josh Trank。新人，2012凭一部chronicle成为继steven Spielberg和james
Cameron之后第三个怎么怎么样的导演。我反正觉得chronicle是writer matt landis的
功劳
当然投资人们不这么想所以reboot fantastic 4的大任就交给这位josh trank了。中间
有各种传闻投资方不满，花大钱重拍云云。反正现在看trailer是有够烂。明显已经能
接触到新版fantastic 4的职业电影人对此片都不看好。早就觉得josh trank是不行的
，看来就是这样
不过今年期待的两部jupiter ascending和avengers 2都很差，对matt landis的新片也

Economist和The New Yorker我都经常看，说实话这两本杂志风格和内容其实很不一样
，前者主要是政治经济，少部分文化科技；后者主要以pop+elite文化内容为主，时评
在Reporting & Essays那部分比较多，而Arts& Culture, Fiction & Poetry之类的栏
目，就比较生活+文艺。《纽约客》的用词和句式比《经济学人》会更intellectual：
我GRE红宝、巴朗都背得很熟，也背过美国这边比较流行的比如Word Smart（只背了I，
没有背II）和Webster Vocabulary Builder等单词书，但是《纽约客》我还是不时会碰
