A couple of things need to be considered.
Etiology (what caused the cirrhosis) sometime matters.
It also depends on the severity of cirrhosis and a lot of blood markers need
to be checked for assessment such as CBC (look at anemia and platelet count
), PT-INR (liver is the organ to produce coagulation factors. If this is
affected, combined with low platelet count, patient is at risk for bleeding
in addition for portal hypertension), and liver enzymes as well as other

这个叫cavernous transformation of the portal vein. 比较不常见，发生在non-
cirrhotic liver。也叫portal cavernoma。
他朋友目前接受的手术都是正确的，当前比较有效的是mesenterico-left portal
bypass （Rex shunt）。不知道国内有没有。 |
