Mark 23, which is over-sized, over-priced, and over-advertised by Hollywood
and video games.

M4 is the government designation for their standardized 14.5" barreled
select-fire AR15 made by colt or FN.
M4 carbine features semi-auto and burst fire capability while M4A1 goes semi
and full-Auto. It has a distinct short handguard (and gas system) and
barrel profile (grenade launcher lug)

这堆人里有当兵的也有经常打比赛的。平均一下，一般警察训练的机会和时间还真未必
有我们多。当然很多LEO也有射击爱好，但这里说的是局子安排的训练，每年那几次考
核。
当兵的你也可以一年考两次过关拉到，你也可以自愿性的参加更多的训练。marine不是
什么精英部队，marine force recon
才算。 army ranger, navy seal什么的不用说， 就连空军和普通海军都有各种额外的
作战训练。
我当兵期间认识一些seal, swcc, marine等等，说实在的，一般的special warefare都
不怎么懂枪或者射击。大多数seal的背景是高中运动健将， 能跑能跳能游泳的。当兵
之前有射击爱好的，当兵之后才算是如鱼得水，再就是勤学苦练军队教的那点射击知识
的。剩下的，水平不敢恭维。 记得几年前有场seal vs PD vs civillian的远程射击比
赛，结果seal和警察叔叔们被屁民完爆。
说了这么多废话是什么意思呢？ 不要小看家里有两杆枪的屁民。

accurized semi auto rifle, including many hunting rifles.
Accuracy wise, military DMRs are built to 2 moa or better. An accurized m14
can shoot sub moa if the shooter is any good.
Ideally a hunting rifle shouldn't exceed a certain weight. Heavy barreled or
quad railed rifles would only weigh you down. Carrying a 6 lbs .308 bolt
action hunting rifle vs a 12 lbs semi auto target rifle is heaven and hell.
