显然是BRAKE SYSTEM问题了。
可能的CAUSE是：
1。INCORRECT PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT。
2。BRAKE HOSES RESTRICTED。
3。MASTER CYLINDER PISTONS NOT RETURNING。一般是前轮
查一下BRAKE FLUID。CABLES。偶以为是MASTER CYLINDER PISTONS有
问题。你大概
要拆前轮，买个U-CLAMP挤一下CYLINDER。 |

1. hose connection, try tight up the clamp.
2. thermostat housing flange
3. coolant temperature sensor
4. hose or connection for the heater
They are all located at that area, and may become leaking when old. |

choice but it makes no difference later when you want to remove
your alarm. YOu can't restore to original condition. As for
good connection and current capacity, both methods are good enough.
Yes, it's just a tube, made of alumnum. the outer shell is
plastic. You don't have to worry about isolation after clamping
in the wires.

那么容易坏。
但换outer boot也要卸下inner boot 旧的boot才脱得下来新的才套进去。。。
如果不换inner boot的话，难道把inner boot里的grease收集起来，换了outer boot
后又把原来的inner boot和grease还原回去？
当然，我不想换那种split type的boot. 不好。
还有，outer CV boot kit包含什么呢？boot, grease? 还包含clamps吗？还有呢？ |

发帖数: 7 | 16 前段时间开上curb,把下面右边撞坏了，包括
control arm, ball joint, CV shaft。考试前
拆了一次，control arm的最后一个bolt拔不出来。
考试完了准备接着弄。周五室友开车去junk yard买回了这
些部件，今天天气还好，就是风有点大，就开工了。
分析了一下，主要是因为撞歪了，那些bolt都变形
了，被卡住了。因此就试着加外力让那些部件尽量
回到原位置。为此还去借了clamp,可惜最后没有用上。
后来就直接把jack放在control arm的下面，用jack
加力，非常有用，一边加力，一边试着往外拧那个
bolt,发现在某个位置用手都可以弄动，然后就顺利
取下来。
现在所有的螺母都取下来了，可是整个control arm
还是下不来，原因仍然是部件变形，有两个地方
完全卡死了。看了一下，决定锯掉连接后面的一个
类似bolt的东西。先用电转试了一下，地方太窄，伸
不进去。只好用手慢慢锯了，为此还去买了新锯条。
旁边就有一家ACE hardware，比较方便。里面的服务
人员还帮着推荐了一把，原来不同的材料需要不同
的锯条，据bolt之类的金 |

1．在Engine Off和Cold的时候，inlet hose里没有多少Coolant；
2．在Flush Kit里的Radiator Adaptor根本没有用，还是用Reservoir hose排水好；
3．不要相信什么Super Flush试剂，大量的清水就是最好的Flush。

Flush kit --- $4.60
Heat hose --- $4.00
Super Flush -- $3.30
Clamp -- $0.90
Coolant -- $8.90

90年的Corolla，前一阵后闸灯自己亮，钥匙拔了也亮。后来自己换了brake light
switch，这灯算好了。
可是第二天，LD在高速上就坏了。我到时还可以闻见胡味。
把前闸的Caliper拆下，换了新的brake pad，flush brake fluid.原来的真脏，有锈，还
有水。老Caliper的piston卡住，c-clamp都不好使。后来也换了新的（rebuild的）。后
闸的brake drum很不容易拿下来，下来后，看drum还有挺多，就没换。
可是试车时，还是不行。加速慢，闸3，4个miles就热的冒烟。那位大虾再给出个主意吧

C-clamp觉得很难用，不如那个kits里面的东西好使，里面有一块跟
pad长得一样的铁片，所以也不用垫木片。
还有那个托驾，可以从caliper上取下来，直接拉就出来了
链接的地方象个活塞，还有橡皮的boot，取下来时我往里面灌了点cv joint用的红油。
上次换的全是Bendix的premium的pads

多迈声音越来越小了，再后来就基本不变，高速上有点抖动。分析是刹车盘太锈的问题
，决心换掉。
于是乎买了前轮的刹车皮和刹车盘，70运到家；还买了清洗液刹车液各一瓶，以备
不测；CRAFTSMAN HEX bit+socket一套，橡皮锤一把；借了C－CLAMP和3/8in BREAKER
BAR，雄心勃勃打算上周末换。周六上午用HEX BIT卸CALIPER，没想到第一下就把BIT搞
碎了。于是想到就算把CALIPER和BRACKET卸下来，那两个ROTOR恐怕搞不定，打算到车
铺弄了。
今天打电话问了两家，自带零件一家收手工50，屁颠屁颠跑过去，就是芝加哥的东
捷修车，四五个工人还挺正式的。左面好弄，ROTOR用大锤砸几下就下来了；右面的可
惨了：先是两个工人换着大锤轮流向外敲了几十下搞不定，后来把ROTOR锯开一条缝，
各种气动工具搞不定，那工人还跑到砂轮上磨搞坏的工具；最后老板出来狠砸了好多下
，总算弄下来了。搞那个ROTOR至少20多分钟，工人搞得汗流浃背，都快DESPERATE了， |

就把brake caliper上的bolt拧断了。
现在的情况是大概有1/2 inch长的bolt断在跟caliper连接的那个铁板上了，caliper还
是可以取下来的，那个bolt大概有半厘米露在外面。
能不能用C clamp夹住拧下来？ 那个bolt应该是16ft-lb,拧断的时候，我估计实际可能
到达25-30ft-lb了。
还有什么工具推荐吗？ 能有效夹住那个bolt就可以了。

的下面了.今天发现turbo的一根pipe没clamp好,松松的,周围有一些油漏出来.没工具只
好找了些alum foil tape把他粘了一下.以往加速到2krpm时,总很大的噪音.土办法修了
一下,好像声音低很多.下次去dealer那买个管换上也许就会彻底解决问题.

，纹丝不动，后来发现活塞上有x
型凹痕，又上网一查，才知道有的后轮车闸活塞是螺旋的，要顺时针旋转还原。应该有
专门的工具，我用尖嘴钳也成功
了。多花了两小时。
车是2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx LS. 头一次换闸，以前直换过雨刷，机油和尾灯泡，冷
却液也该换了。

#1 I would fix the leak. the cost should be depend on whether it is pressure
line or return line. the return line should be fair cheap to fix. usually
it is some clamp's problem. for pressure line, usually it is still just the
hose and its connection. However, if you don't attend to the leak, you could
very like to damage your PS pump when it run dry.
Unlike engine oil leak, it could leak slowly for the rest of your car's life

if it more expensive on the pressure hose, usually it require replace of the
hose itself.
if on the return line, then $180 is too expensive. the return line if leaks
at a clamp, sometimes trimming rubber hose by a few milimeters and then
reclamping it will stop the leak. |

有些车的water pump是由timing belt带动的，换water pump跟换timing belt的工作量
接近了。
不过你这个车应该不是timing belt驱动的，因为你能看见water pump。就算是
serpentine belt驱动的water pump，没修过车的人换也不容易。
600多块修Saab这些东西不贵。
想自己修可以去auto zone免费租比较特别的工具；ramp/jack stand和通用的tool set
只能自己买了。
还有，门的玻璃一般不是粘上的，是固定在regulator上的一对clamp上的。 |

to get there you need firstly drain coolant, disconnect several hoses
including upper rad hose on the flange side, probably smog pump hose, some
specially shaped thingy.
might also have to remove air box, battery first too.
it's necessary to have a factory repair manual and tools like hose clamp
pliers，tweezers, offset wrench.
