为什么在王制时不存在的矛盾，到了被普遍认为是比王制更进步的共和制时代反而

留学美国，不是一个人的故事能够概括的，何况很多有着辛酸与成功经历的
predecessors早已对这一话题有过充分的阐述。比如，某个女博士用7年时间从某理工
科PhD转到Law School读JD，最后找到理想工作，但却失去了爱情，逝去了青春的故事
；以及某个十万男，拿着滕校学位，经历各种竞争淘汰，拿到华尔街某银行高薪工作后
，发现蛋疼，生不出孩子，老婆吵着要离婚的故事；当然，也还有某高材生，被骗回国
，拿着空头支票，后悔不已，遂跳楼自尽的故事；还有多年前发生在本校的某孤僻天才

大约有62%的美国人没有应急储蓄，而一次急诊需要1000美元，一次汽车维修则需要500

的1.5代移民。
除了1.5代华男有个同为1.5代移民的华女ＧＦ外，其余５个ABC男都是单身。他们年龄
在2８~３６不等。
我和其中４个人比较熟（因为一起玩各种Board Game、Clash of Clans）。
这４个华男都是生长在平均房价１．５～２米的长岛好区，上的都是１０分公立学校或
私校。大学虽然没有藤校，但也都是著名的私立大学（如库伯联盟、约翰霍普金斯等）。
平时和他们相处的时候，发现他们的兴趣爱好以及为人处世和其他白人同事很相近，都
喜欢健身、喜欢看橄榄球、下班后喜欢去酒吧。
但每每提到任何与中国相关的话题，他们的反应则是异常的激烈：labor camps、Blood
-Sweat Factory、Cheap & junky good made in China、Chinese Hacker以及最近曝光
的月子中心等等。。。总之他们对中国、尤其是大陆的一切事物都有着一种强烈的憎恨
与蔑视。在美国存在的问题，他们竟然都可以想方设法归结到中国的身上。

在具体谈到这个主题之前，或许有必要讨论一下仇恨这个问题。我是能理解人类的仇恨
。这世界有三种力量可以支持一个人承受所不能忍受的折磨。一种是爱的力量，一种是
恨的力量，一种是信仰的力量。
即使象我这种看破红尘之人，在他们24小时折磨之下，我心中也会不时泛起恨意。所以
，我是能理解人类的那份绝望，特别是看到你的亲人被无辜地夺取生命，你的家园被毁
，你的同族被屠杀的时候。
所以，如果一个印第安人，因为自己的种族被白人完全地屠杀而走向复仇之路，我完全
可以理解。那么日本人因为被原子弹摧毁，战败而走向复仇之路，这种感情，我也是可
以理解。可以理解，不等于说我会和这种仇恨的力量和解而纵容它，让它危害人类。
多数人的感情，不管爱也好，恨也好，都是和自己命运相连，而不能把自己的遭遇放在
历史的环境下，做客观的判断，理性的判断。其实我觉得中国发言人，这句话说的比较
好。固然广岛值得纪念，但南京更不应忘怀。在我们回顾历史的时候，我们不能有选择
性记忆。日本民族的问题就是把自己民族的利益过分的强调，而忽视其他民族正当的权
