录音软件：GarageBand
伴奏：GarageBand上自己弹的吉他
后期：GarageBand自带reverb
一直很喜欢这首歌，可惜不会弹吉他，没法唱。最近发现了GarageBand这个宝贝，立解
有心无力之苦。
说说制作。三轨人声，两轨吉他，全部在iPad GarageBand上完成。吉他是在
Smart Guitar上一指头一指头弹出来的。本来想用自动和弦，结果有一个theme chord
又是sus又是add，Smart Guitar居然不支持，而且自动生成的种类太少也不好听。于是
上网找原唱谱子，找来找去都是吉他六线谱，比我熟悉的多一条线，看不懂放弃了。最
后，只好很悲催得从原唱扒谱子。扒了和声吉他的谱，还有一把加花儿的吉他忽略了，
太复杂。其实和弦重复很
多，大概一共20个左右的unique bars.
人声的三轨，两轨是主旋律（高低音），一轨是对位旋律canticle（括号里的歌词）。

第一次听，是在大一圣诞前夕。围在寝室里做手工礼物时，这个旋律不经意地从录音机
里飘出。那种娓娓道来的伤感，波澜不惊下的暗涌，立刻攫取了我的心。那时还流行纸
卡和写信，是电子风暴袭来前最后温馨的夜晚。
一年后，遇到同样喜欢这首歌的人。一起看烛光浮在平安夜的水面，一起和着声轻轻地
唱起来。心灵相通的感觉，无需诉诸言语。
又一年，跟好友在晚会上合唱。当吉他前奏缓缓响起，喧嚣的会场霎时安静。后来同学
说那是当晚最精彩的节目，而我，只是在唱给一个人听。
那时的天总是很蓝，日子总过得太慢。
你总说毕业遥遥无期，转眼就各奔东西。
只有这首歌留了下来，Scarborough Fair......

clarion inn, 一个人一间， 还行。
不过， 听说更有趣的是从toronto->detroit->shanghai的人。12/25号detroit是
terrorist的那天。 他们的飞机在要landing时， 可能就是非常时期， 没让land.
然后就在附近盘旋。 然后油没了， 然后去附近小机场加油， 然后在land. 下机后
， 被告知， 飞机还在， 但飞机门已经关了， 没办法。。。 |

发帖数: 5114 | 7 最近翻出阿西莫夫作品全集来重看，真挺有意思的，不仅囊括了他最早期那些名不见经
传的短篇，还有自己写的“创作感想”。看到TRENDS那一篇，居然发现他在1938年（当
时他还在读大学）成功预测成两件事：1）1940年第二次世界大战，2）1970年，人类登
月。
两件事都只差1年而已！
我一直觉得那个SF黄金时期的创作高峰,后来者很难翻越……

McKinsey BCG 招进来的PhD和MBA是一样的职位, 在McKinsey叫Associate, BCG叫
Consultant。2015年入职的McKinsey Associate Base $140K, bonus up to $35K,
retirement contribution $20.4K, sign on bonus $25K. BCG Base高$5K, bonus也多
一些，retirement contribution少一点,最后总额差不多。2017年入职的Associate
base涨到153K了。Bain非常少招PhD，不评价。
即使是二线的生物为主的consulting firm也远不止80-90K. L.E.K.的life science
specialist 4-5年前就$115K了。Boston那些小公司,ClearView, Putnam, Clarion之类
的，都在$100-120K之间。大部分小公司PhD进去比本科生高一级比MBA低一级，大部分
