By "borderline" I meant that it was not a clearcut "definitely a threat"
or "definitely not a threat" scenario. One judge might rule one way,
and another other might go the other way. You and I probably
came from the same general culture and so I can understand that
in that culture, it was almost just a typical curse when people feel
desperate. But unfortunately the judge ruled on your case thought
otherwise.
Quite frankly, I think that that right there really is your root problem.

To open 2C, you need:
1. 23+ balanced, or
2. 9+ tricks with 2+ defensive tricks outside the main suit.
5H is understandable, even when the pass after 3S showed some value.
coz South may have a much better hand. South should have refused the
invitation coz of his deadly minimium.
By the way, after 2C open, 3S pass, pass, Double is quite attractive,
showing a strong balance hand. the "smart" 3S bid got caught this time.:> |

Ax QJxx. 3C was going 1 down but a terrible defensive slip let it through.

after a spade lead. So I don't really think 6C is a clearcut,
but still, 6C does make facing many possible distributions
and those who bid 6C are not to blame. |

passes double with 4 or sometimes even 3, you are in serious trouble.
For example, partner may hold a very normal looking AQJxx x ATxx Qxx, it's
almost impossible to beat 2D double and very often, they make an overtrick
without any games on. This is a major disaster you should try to avoid IMO.
In some sense, the takeout double can never be based on too much shape and

because partner shows slam interest and outside of H, you still have 9 HCPs,
which is usually enough to have a reasonable play in 3NT. Your H is not a
sure double stopper and your D is relatively weak. 3NT is clear only if you
hold HT or better in H here. |

俩人身高相似，但williams比rogers壮一块（重10磅以上），
而40 yard dash又比rogers快。
RW在texas没有rogers在MSU牛拜的主要原因是，Mike Brown长期被
Texas fan批评不够重视running back, 尤其RW的后三年除了C. Benson
这样的超级RB, 所以texas的passing play实际上并不多。 不然

MULHOLAND DRIVE, 我个人意见, 要强于VANILA SKY. DAVID LYNCH因前者而获
OSCAR多少还是证明了他在这种神秘主义题材的电影上还是鲜有对手.
Mulholand Drive, 看似糊涂, 实际清楚, 而VANILA SKY看似清楚却实际糊涂.
VANILA SKY最大的败笔就是在最后由一个人把所有的事情都好好解释了一遍,
一下少了很多玩味之处. 最后那个DOCTOR被证明是虚拟的确实FUNNY, 但我以为
若他能说出他两个女儿的名字从而使DAVID更加迷惑而不能DECIDE去跳楼也许
更能体现导演的意图.(或许是我的意图, 呵呵)
MULHOLLAND DRIVE, 所有的东西都可以找到hint, 而所有的解释只在神秘人的
一句话而已. 抓住了这句话, 原本乱七八糟的东西一下清晰, 梦与现实立刻找到
了CLEARCUT.
两部片子都只粗看了一遍, 所以理解可能有误, 有机会还可以再欣赏一把. VANILA
SKY 的音乐不错, 而MULHOLAND DRIV |
