因为直接pp，140不是efile，140表和其他材料29号uscis收到， 30号给我发了email，
才知道receipt number。所以错过了pp start 时间。估计不是29就是30号pp clock
start，之后一直是acceptance。8月7号早上东部8点半收到短信说pp clock stop，半
个多小时后刷新页面看到approve的信息。看来有io 很早7点多就上班了啊。
感谢大家的祝福还有很多热心朋友的帮助。在这里写点我的经验回愦本版。
DIY, 自己整整花了将近3个月的时间整理，写PL, RL，claim了老三样：authorship，
contribution，review。
8 recommendation letter，4封美国，英国，德国，新加坡，加拿大各1。8封中2封是
journal editor，verify了我的review 工作，同时也confirm了我在领域内的
contribution。严格的独立RL只有3封。自己以前phd老板和现在老板信各一。

在32bit机器上，当执行时间过长时(>2000秒), clock()函数会归零重新计时，导致最
后duration为负数，各位大大有什么解决方法不？
（我知道用time()和difftime()可以，但是我现在在一个公用机器上run，用这两个函
数会受其他进程影响，导致结果不准确，有没有用clock()，但是不溢出的方法）

EB1B-140：RD 4/29
USCIS网站的状态变化：
Acceptance: 5/1
PP clock stop: 5/6
Approval: 5/7
当时看到pp clock stop之后做了点作业，发现很多１４０PP都是先clock stop，第二
天一早才显示approval。
总的建议：
１.如果公司能支持EB１B，无论你背景多一般，都尽快去找几个律师evaluate一下，如
果有律师愿意接，基本就能过了，即使律师是勉强接的，也很可能过，如我的同事（见
文尾）
２. 一旦决定做EB１B，尽快开始写完第一封推荐信（最好是导师的，以便总结大部分
research），剩下的就会很快了。

PhD in Computer Science
湾区大公司applied researcher.

２０＋，申请的时候去掉了中文文章（免得翻译公证啥的麻烦）和非referred
workshop（免得RFE）， 剩下１６篇。

的周期，都要协同执行一些操作。
如果不通过各个core之间握手来保证“相同的周期”，是不是得要求multicore有个
global clock，每个core都以这个global clock计时。请问现在multicore都有global
