His office is in Virginia. You don't have to go to his office. For my case,
all the documents were done through phone and email. I scanned some of the
needed documents, like bank statement, driver's licenses, etc, and sent him
in email. In this way I didn't need fax which I don't have. The closing was

Potential risks include property damager, mortgage rate increase etc. But
I don't feel this could be a problem as long as it's handled properly.

发帖数: 172 | 25 以前拿到过一个homepath的房子。感觉是homepath有两种，一种就是普通的homepath
finance这种的房子一般都比较干净，还有一种是homepath renovation. 两种首付都很
少，3%左右，优点很像FHA和FHA203K。homepath还有个优点是fannie mae给你3.5%的
closiing fee。（上周末的报纸上看到fannie mae现在给up to 6%给buyer）
另一个特性是它的rate会稍微高一点，但是没有FHA的PMI。give-and-take.
谈谈homepath的缺点，它没有appraisal contingency，不管appraisal是多少，它都可
以贷给你，通过它的participating lender.
还一个可能的缺点是它不付closing fee里面本来根据地方法律应该由seller来承担的
那部分，但是有买fannie mae的朋友在close of escrow后面拿到了fannie mae的退款
。所以我觉得都是negotiable.
从来没有排斥过fannie mae,对我来说只要房价对condi |
