I am using Miltenyi anti-NKp46-biotin-bead- MS column kit. The first step is
to get splenocyte from spleen by gentlMACS without enzyme treatment. A very
simple protocol, just put spleen into the PEB buffer and let gentleMACS run
m_spleen_01 program once, and filter, spin, aspirate, resuspend the pellet.
The problem comes from the resuspending process. The small tight pellet will

Clumping bamboo 不像running bamboo, 不太 invasive, 不过我还是提醒大家，院子
小还是小心一点好。
我这个品种的 clumping bamboo 成株大概20尺高，可以长到3寸直径，翠绿，竹笋可食
，竹子强度不足以作建筑材料，多用于做家具。一般庭院或者中庭都可以生长，有点像
旧金山机场国际入境口中庭的竹子。

就是些不同的酶的混合剂，也没啥特别好的效果。filter呢，就是可能丢掉很多细胞。

就注册去上课了，发现价格已经改了，是$19，
不过用promotion code (X2B-C8B-A94) 依然可以减少$2。
现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。

一类是running。 running的需要考虑窜根的问题。 clumping不需要。

视频里有几十张菊花的照片，分别为2010年，2015年和今年的2016年. Mums可能是最便
宜的菊花了，刚搬到这儿就有了白色和金黄色两棵，自己又去买了三棵其他颜色，头两
年开得不错，后来自己买的那三棵先没了，也不知什么原因。可能是太拥挤，抢不过本
来的两棵，原本两棵也缩小了，前些年旁边都没种东西，有点空荡荡的，所以今年把番
茄种在了旁边，没想到番茄发了疯似的长，占了菊花的地盘，今年的菊花开得最差了，
于是才想起上网查原因，原来我都没好好管理菊花，视频后面列了自己总结的tip，也
解答了我今年菊花开得不好的困惑。
下面3张照片都是十月份拍的，很大的差别。
2010年十月白菊花越长越大，一大圈。
去年十月的金黄菊花开得多好。
今年十月的金黄菊花开得稀稀拉啦的。很大原因可能是番茄抢了阳光抢了土地。

用了一个星期，猫尿已经开始不clumping了，小抖了几下全部散了 :'( 相比之下，
Corn的用好几个星期都可以保持其clumping的性能。
而且猫尿所需要的clump很大，我上个星期铺的3英尺现在就只剩下2英尺了！！ ：（
以这个速度，估计这一带17lb 两到三个星期就用完了。。。

faculty来说可以算是很牛B了，但是对于老方这种senior的已经搞了一辈子的人来说，
就只能算so so。不要说是院士，离aps fellow的级别也还差了不少。引用率最高的一
篇文章还是95年到了arizona之后跟老外合作的，被引118次，这也是方唯一一篇被引用
上百次的文章。可见方励之89之前确实没有做出过什么重要的工作，他的名声和地位绝
对是靠政治得来的，当然其中部分的也是80年在中国搞科普所得，必须承认科普工作也是
有重要的社会意义的。

种竹子，不是一劳永逸。要每年维护。在种竹子的外围挖沟来防止竹子扩撒是有效办法
，竹子的竹鞭 （地下茎）的生长深度并不深。 挖一尺的沟就可以控制竹子的扩散。关

Cat Litter. 感觉不错，不会像以前我用的swheat scoop那样最后urine的味道
非常重。用这种猫沙，最好用比较深而且有盖或是有护围的大
猫盆，要不猫会把沙拨弄出来。我觉得如果猫上完厕所自己会盖的话，这种猫沙
对盖味道挺好，结块非常好。我的猫不会盖土而且还有IBD，如果她刚上
完厕所被我听到，我会在feces上撒上Tidy Cats deodorizer,然后盖上沙。当然
我不能每次都在旁边帮她盖土，所以在放猫盆的屋里放一鞋盒子，里面撒上
baking soda. 最近还琢磨想弄点activated carbon放在屋里试试。
猫盆不记得牌子了。是walmart买的深蓝色的有盖的一个特大号猫盆（因为猫
宝宝十六磅，只能用最大的）。好像才十几块。如果不在家两三天，就多放
一个大猫盆。曾经也想过买自动的，但是据说有IBD的又不会自己盖沙的猫，
不适合用自动的，feces会粘在上面，很难清理。

cat的，
然后混着用了。发现不是很好，猫屁股上老是湿的，说明clumping的速度效果差。可能

差别，导致clumping不协调。刚才我把混的全倒了，然后换成是multi-cat的，看看是

像也都是，我用过wheat的觉得盖味不够好，你将来可以慢慢换着多试几种
我记得arm&hammer有double duty，有multi－cat，还有一种什么，我觉得用起来都差
不多。有的砂是有香味的，有的没有香味，你最好找上面写着unscented的，不容易刺
激猫的呼吸道
去google image搜 arm&hammer litter，记下包装盒的样子，到店里去找就可以拉。。

都有卖，成分挺不错的，罐头比干粮成分更好。
猫砂的话，你们目前的non clumping需要每天彻底换掉，既费事又不经济。不如用更
natural一点的flushable的clumping猫砂。选择很多，前面同学们都推荐过了，我家用
的是arm & hammer的玉米砂，比world's best性价比稍高～ |

world's best刚倒下去感觉很好，但是用两天就酸臭酸臭的感觉。
用过紫色的ARM & HAMMER Double Duty Clumping Litter，刚开始一周都觉得挺好，一
股洗衣粉的香味，但后来条件反射太强了，一闻到就觉得是nnbb，再也不好闻了，而且
不是flushable，连垃圾桶也一起熏臭了。。。

我现在用tidy cats，盖味功能比较好，灰几乎没有，clumping。大便要冲厕所。小便
如果比较大坨，最好不要冲厕所，一次丢多了容易堵，毕竟是clumping的，不那么容易
化开，丢垃圾袋没什么味道的。

consistent. Sometimes they spread out individually (great), but sometimes
they clump up as clusters. It looks like a coating problem. I coated with
poly-D-lysine at 0.1mg/ml overnight and washed with water twice and then
10ug/ml laminin coating overnight. After that, wash by water twice and dried.
Anyone has suggestion about a coating technique that is consistent with cell
spreading (not clumping)?
