policy. The alternative situation is: if one family has an old car and

开我现在这个minivan，跟以前的94 Sable Station Wagon对比，感觉也就是各有千秋。
minivan空间是比st wagon大不少，但是比较方，而且放东西多了总得把中排座fold起
来（我知道grand caravan是可以收起来的。。。），当然st wagon也要放倒后排座。
。。。。但是感觉minivan空间的长度不如st wagon，比如我以前买一些12ft的framing
lumber，st wagon放起来没问题，最多把tailgate的窗户开着随便跑，可是minivan就
放不进去，害得我现在都不敢买12ft的只能买10ft的；可是就算这个10ft也很郁闷，必
须架在仪表盘上面，这样买少了还好，买多了就看不到后视镜。。。。
另外就是买drywall，肯定是要放顶上的，里面都放不下，但是st wagon比minivan矮很

一切饮食基于经济基础。首先，北方古代一直是穷地方物产不丰富，吃不起肉或者很少

古代北方自然消费不起，所以形成了南方人吃甜，北方人吃咸。到了端午这种大节日，
穷苦的北方人本来吃不起肉的，又馋甜的，所以才会有甜粽和大枣来代替，而生活富足
的南方人则更上一层楼发明了美味的肉粽。
看到很多帖子分析哪个粽子好吃，答案不是很明显嘛，这么简单的道理为什么大家看不

政府的投资分成三两部分：
第一部分是基本的政府预算。有财政收入部分 （主要是税收），和支出部分。他们的
差就是赤字。由于政府对财政收入的降低估计不足，政府的实际赤字会比预算要大。
第二部分是今年的 ”Stimulus Package". 这是政府预算之外的追加投资。一共 $787B
. 到目前为止，已经花掉 $200B 左右。我们知道的有，TAX CUT,已经退了 $50B. Cash
-for-Clunker: $3B; Home-Buyers-Credit: 多少不详。另外，其它主要的开销为：资
助州政府；政府合同项目（修桥，修路，改造，设备升级等）。很多人，包括媒体，把
第三季度的 GDP增长归结于 CASH-FOR-CLUNKER 和 HOME-BUYERS-CREDIT。 其实这是胡

FSA，DPCA) 都可以算扣除。所以这个 8k 还是有一点影响，虽然是心理影响
大于实际影响（因为只有 1% 房价），不过群体行为学上面，大众就是不讲
理性的。看看 cash for clunkers 就知道，其实前阵子淡季的时候，直接跑
dealer 砍价就能砍差不多 3k 过来，自己的车如果不是太差，trade-in 也
至少 1.5k。cash for clunkers 时 dealer jack up price，很多人买不到

党议员就在停水区，结果他们提出给这个地区供水，“买”来了珍贵的两票。
3。还是健康保险法案，内布拉斯加和佛罗里达的党徒不同意，因为现有法案会对两个
州造成损失，结果关门会议一天，给法案加上两条：对佛罗里达和内布拉斯加优惠，呵呵
4。 墨西哥非法移民上街游行，媒体说他们是undocumented的移民，红脖子们上街，媒
体说他们是种族主义，呵呵
5。 美国的税收也是扯淡，中产阶级辛辛苦苦，挣钱，交税，把房子还清了，结果来个
住房救助计划，对那些大手大脚，不换放贷的提供帮助，对于已经还清的，谁叫你辛勤
工作来着？关键救助的钱是纳税人提供的，呵呵
6。 在美国买省由汽车的，多花钱也算了，人家有cash for clunker的计划，你车废油
，没问题，政府给你补贴，对于已经买车的人嘛，对不起，谁叫你能支付呢？顺便也要

50B to prevent teacher lay offs.
20B increase to food stamps.
