两次输给共和党，unbelievable, 这次她是很认真的，想redeem自己（当然Baker也是
要redeem自己）
其实没有必要太在意Coakley这次的竞选语言 - 她是为了激活民主党的基本盘，但是没
有大的竞选资金下去，在中期选举中效果肯定比不上总统的大选年的。（话句话说，如
果今年是总统大选年，Coakley是赢定的，所以她肯定不会这么radical的）
Coakley是出身在西麻的草根，能混到现在也很不容易了，她是属于能混的那种，早早
得就抱牢了肯尼迪家族的大腿。
Coakley的政治生命要靠选举的应该已经没戏了，但是她还是可以靠被任命这条路继续
混的。而且她作为AG还是做了些事情的，现在联邦AG不是有空缺么？我觉得很难说
Coakley现在不在Obama的short list上。拭目以待吧。 |

反击，如果Martha Coakley赢了这个CASE，DOMA就成一张废纸了，所以，不要太悲观。
可惜，OBAMA上台以后急吼吼地搞健保改革，没顾上DOMA的事，就已经耽误了我们一年
的时间，明年的中期选举，民主党已经放出话来了，为了保障民主党在中期选举以后仍
然能在国会保持多数席位，明年一年都不再提有关同志平权这样敏感性的话题，结果，
又耽误了我们一年。
我就不明白，美国还有3千万的同性恋者至今还没有享受到现代文明与法律带给公民的
基本保障，美国政府怎么就这么坐得住，还认为让大多数人过上更幸福的生活比让少数
人有基本的权利更迫切？ |

但是在民主党可以指鹿为马的麻省，这种丑闻丝毫没有影响她的政治前途。当初
Harvard怎么会招她的？如果她不宣称自己是印第安人，她在Harvard会有机会？
Scott Brown不是能力的问题，相反他能力是很强的，你想想，一个出身草根的人，靠
从town selectman做起，然后州参议员，然后(呵呵，又是Martha Coakley) 在特别选
举中击败大意失荆州的Coakley成功当选联邦参议员。要知道，选举风向变之前，没有
人当Brown是回事的，他完全是靠着自己那张pretty face, 开着pickup走访了全州的大
