州的火鸡而言却是“幸运日”美国总统奥巴马21日亲自赦免了它们。
依照传统，奥巴马当日在两个女儿玛利亚和萨沙的陪同下在白宫举行了赦免仪式。
这两只从弗吉尼亚州“进宫”接受“免死金牌”的火鸡分别名为Cobbler和Gobbler，它
们是历史上第一次通过社交网络由网民“海选”出来的。
“人们常说，人生总有第二次机会。今年11月时，我完全同意(这一说法)”奥巴马
在当天的赦免仪式上拿自己连任胜选以及竞选口号“前进”大开玩笑，他说：“美国人
民已经说了，这些火鸡可以继续"前进"。”
奥巴马透露，这两只火鸡是历史上第一次由激烈的网络投票选出的，他还再次开玩

小，拼着费劲，biscuit的大，省事，结果哈 pie 皮是咸的。然后我用了4个大萍果，
陷的厚度大概是楼主的3倍，两勺raw sugar, 3/4 根butter,两勺面粉做陷，出来效果
还不错，吃起来象apple cobbler。象我这种不喜欢吃pie但喜欢cobbler的，这个比较
合口味。 |

发帖数: 6123 | 19 周日坐飞机从亚特兰大回来，正好是晚饭时间。本来想去在21街的一家越南饭馆，但是周日不开门。于是往回开的路上，看到一家Soul Food（黑人传统饮食）饭馆
，就想干脆尝一尝吧。
一尝之下，大为倾倒。这家饭馆是由一对黑人夫妇开的，整个厨房就是妻子一个人在工作，所以速度比较慢。这里完全是家庭的方式，大家坐下来闲聊聊天，慢慢等候女主人做菜。所以在这里吃要有耐心，做好长时间等待的准备，但食物非常可口绝对值得。
我觉得 soul food 和某些中国菜很像，比如炖猪脚，炖 Neck bone，还有肥肠(Chittlins)——可惜那天晚上肥肠已经卖完了，没吃到。基本上是半自助餐方式，你可以任意点两种肉，然后配 side orders（不限数量），加一份甜品，10块多。
肉菜我们吃了：Neck bone，pig feet，fried chicken, Pork Chops;
小菜吃了：Macaroni&cheese，Sweet Potatoes，Peas with Okra, Dressing，Corn bread;
甜品：Lemon cake, peach cobbler.

巴上也找到三五家中国的厂商，但都是没脚的。所有有脚的全都是古董，估计现在不流
行了。Which leads me to believe that 之所以有脚的已经不流行了，肯定有原因的
，您要不要考虑考虑没脚的？
另外一个办法是自己找铁匠去打，刚刚找到这家 http://ballardiron.com/，在 Ballard，看起来是专做花园装饰的铸铁栏杆什么的，但重点是他们可以做 custom design 的东西，不妨自己画个图给他们试试。您再用力找找，肯定有更多类似的 cast iron blacksmith 在西雅图附近。Good luck. |

在送去resole之前我做了一下research,之前朋友介绍过几家店，比如说Marmot,
Rubber room, 还有cascade cobbler,价格都贵得离谱，当然评价还是不错的，另外就
是时间比较长
网上搜了一下，搜出来评价最好的两家就是Rock & Resole,在科州，另外一家就是
Ramuta's Resolt,原来在西雅图，后来搬到了蒙大拿
这两家价格都比较低，但是各有不同，有的resole便宜，有的rand修复便宜，有的运费
便宜，另外这两家resole都很快。我的情况比较复杂，要寄３双鞋过去，而且有一双是
已经穿得狠烂的5.10 spire,我自己都怀疑是否能修了（饼干筒同修知道我那双鞋是啥
样的），抱着死马当活马医的想法，给两家都打了电话咨询了一下，Ramuta's resole
的回答让我比较满意，就把三双鞋都寄过去了，寄的时候就附了个条，写上自己的电话
和地址，连付款信息都不用给，用fedex ground寄过去的，从tracking上看，收到了，
