expensive. However, this particular image just shows how bad the bumper/car
quality is. Both bike wheels and car bumpers are supposed to be relatively
rigid. With low speed and/or high speed collision, the bike will be pushed
away from the car instead of sinking into the plastic part of the car. This
particular image shows how crappy that particular car is. There's no need to
find excuse for that car.

估计这些喜欢QCD的人都比较喜欢Technicolor之类的
Matt还是很早pointed out Technicolor/RS duality的人
scott跟michael dine的时候估计也搅和过
dynimical susy breaking的business
应该对technicolor这类理论也比较有好感
其实Scott做的可能更collider一点
multijet,spin determination之类都挺有用的
你们Rutgers最大的优势是离princeton比较近
现在Nima把他的那帮人都带去了
再加上liantao带的几postdoc,Itay, Matt Reece他们
整个那片的collider pheno还是非常active的
多跟他们亲近亲近也有好处 |

能的了，美国可能性有，因为tevatron/slac关了后，美国就没collider了，但因为美
国是CMS/Atlas的主要投资者，再出ILC的1/3的budget还是比较难，所以，就剩日本和
中国了。

我觉得凭老毛以及他手下的一干人，抗日根本不需要8年。
日本会遇到更坚决的反击，会将大部分兵力集中到中国。
会在几年里和共产党打得难舍难分，最终还是要失败的。
如果日本没有额外的兵力去侵略东南亚，也就不会去搞美国。
也就不需要美国开辟什么太平洋战场。
日本失败后，美国也不会控制太平洋地区。
美国苏联的超级大国就不会这么快形成，而且最终能不能形成还是问题。
世界就会完全不一样。
当然国民党的下场不好说，很可能变成民主党派之一。
老蒋能当个政协副主席干干。
