我的旧公司里基本上只有美国人，即使偶尔有一两个Chinese或Spanish speakers，大
家也比较专业，没人会上班说中文或其他外文。大家各有各忙但有说有笑，相安无事。
近来去了新公司，里面基本上是美国人，中国人和印度人。我一直在华人群体中生活，
自然而然的喜欢跟中国人同堆。可是跟中国人说英文他们好像不大喜欢那样，我只好跟
着他们说普通话。
但我不大习惯用国语沟通，稍不留意就会冒出方言字眼，说得快和有口音的国语我基本
听不清。由于我的专业知识都是用英文学的，过去十几年周围的人也没一个懂得这些专
业术语的中文版，基本上无法沟通工作上的东西。刚开始的时候我听不懂还会问，可是
对方似乎很反感这种问题那样，逐渐的我也学会了不懂装懂，听完后再回去想刚才他们
说了些什么。以中文的超强表意能力再加上是母语，我一字一词的想一想还是能明白的
，可是始终没能正常沟通，听专业术语基本上反应不过来。
由于经理都是美国人，听不懂中文。虽然习惯了中国人在一起就说中文，但他们始终还
是有点怀疑我们说的不全是有关工作的东西，觉得我们是个closed circle。

改名叫Field Museum了，还搬到了museum campus，现在那里是 Museum of Science
and Industry |

出门就是traffic，有利有弊吧。不过自打去年年底以来它家在卖的价格全在涨。
2是museum park tower 4。我们当时也去看过。不过这栋楼整个是东西朝向的，大多数
房子不是face west就是face east，所以最后没买。不过你贴的这个是corner unit有
朝南，其实蛮好的。
这两个我肯定选2. |

far the best I have tried in States. It surely kick the ass of Chuan Yuan,
Mangok Garden, Thai Taste, East buffet,...etc etc etc so hard that they kiss
the moons.
One columbian guy once criticized "there is no Chinese restaurant in real
sense outside New York". Now after trying this one, he finally regrets to have
lived in New York for so long.

原本的计划这周去Mt Rainier看看,下周去North Cascades National Park和小伙伴们
backpacking.很不幸的是，government shutdown. 国家公园都关闭了。
临时改主意，决定沿101 开到Oregon玩玩.
101也叫Pacific scenery drive. 但华盛顿州的南面，也许是因为海边和公路有树遮挡
，边开车如果不停，实在也没有什么特别的景色
看到连接两周的大桥，震撼了下，这个桥可真是好长 叫做Astoria-Megler Bridge, 桥
的那头是 Oregon的一个城市叫Astoria
桥快到俄勒冈那一侧时坡度变得很陡，为的是让大型的货轮通过
我们在Astoria一家叫Columbian Cafe吃个brunch，岂料俄勒冈人民的生活节奏超慢，
我们吃午餐等了将近1个半小时，这家店的面包很好吃，配上很特别的西岸的各种辣椒
果酱。服务员和厨师的多线程作业都很差，让人不由的捉鸡～
午饭后再开了一会到Ecola State Park,由于时间很紧张，所以就不hiking了。

因为时间上的关系，冰川公园这次基本只算路过而已，并没有仔细游玩。
我们主要走了Lagan Pass Visitor Center旁的Hidden Lake Nature Trail。这条trail
极其漂亮，一路开满了各种各样的野花，还看到不少野生动物。

有点象几天前特出名的那一只
一走上trail，远远的看见野花从中有一群山羊，不过太远，看不清脸
没走几步，在稍微近一点的距离又看到一只。可惜还是要通过长镜头才能看清脸，让我
很沮丧。因为我来这里之前就一心想要看山羊的，就是觉得他们的脸长的特别滑稽。
沿着trail继续走，一路湖光山色，让人心旷神怡。正欣赏着美景，突然从路旁窜出一
大一小两只山羊，离我不到一人的距离。兴奋之外，又有些失望，因为所有照片画报上
的山羊都是憨憨白白的。这两只倒是憨憨的，可身上的毛脏兮兮的，一点也不白！真是
距离产生美啊，只能远观，不能近看。
峰回路转，trail左边的视野突然开阔起来，山谷里一汪碧蓝的湖水显现在眼前。可惜

个之后觉得无聊就在那里用守门员颠球，结果我为了调戏他，让我的前锋围着他的守门
员跑圈就是不上去抢，哈哈，结果这个土人觉得被我调戏又开始发疯射自己大门，结果
比分11:0,然后在87分钟的时候退了，然后我给这个老莫发了一封感谢信，谢谢他送我7
个球，顺便还告诉他美国很危险，现在这里到处在抓老莫。结果这个老莫怒了，发信告
