当时Kordell签的8百万（当时属天价签字费）signing bonus还只耗了两年，steelers面
对呼声很高的小潘，犹豫了很久，还是放弃了，选了Burress。当时我看draft转播，也感
非常意外。不过如果steelers同时养着两个高薪QB，kordell和小潘，steelers不得不cut
其它球员来挪出salary space。之前，小潘到steelers面试过，反应很好。
这样小潘就一下子滑到了18位。steelers同当时的Jets 教练bill parcell商量用第2，3
，4轮换小潘，未果。当年，kordell表现不好时，痞子堡当地媒体还经常埋怨没挑小潘。
尤其当后来小潘开始出头时，后悔声更多。
当时光流到今年，再次看看当年draft，如果小潘被steelers draft了，就不会有Tommy
Maddox从Arena出来的机会，更不可能两年后被评为comeback player of the year。而且
