本科主要学VLSI，master到现在学过C/C++, 算法，Database, Computer Architecture
, HTML/CSS/jQuery，Data Mining, python和java都只会一点。因为自己基础不太行，
对这些组的描述都看的云里雾里的，所以想请教一下选组的建议。主要还是希望自己做
的东西能有点前景，将来还是有跳去更好的公司比如google, MS, FB的想法，所以请大
家能不能从这个角度出发给选组提点建议。本人自己没有什么特别的喜好，对编程的东

，谈何挣钱。 那么这个marketing怎么做，其实有很多具体的学问，非一日之寒。 你
要想到你是在以美国人为主流的社会里混，你的marketing skills是和他们在竞争。
幸运的是ld在这方面很有天赋， 我们经过1年半努力，基本我们的网站是同类里面排得
上名得。
1。 操作平台的问题。 其实这里面涉及一些技术问题。e-commerce在美国已经是烂大
街的行业，但是你真么能挣到钱，其实有很多具体的事情的。比如 shopping cart,我
们当时研究了很多，很多比如yahoo, os-commerce, x-cart很多。yahoo 要付钱，而
且是按销售额来，好像1-2%，具体不记得了。 其实不要小看，这个数字是很惊人的。
但是yahoo最大的好处是静态page, google排名很好。但是要改个页面也会累死你，因

湾的同学，可以商定在Great Mall等地集合前来。如果分散在不同的地方，最好以学校
或参赛队为单位，在Pleasanton Park & Ride（见附图，near Stoneridge & Johnson
）早8:20（上午参赛队），或中午11:20或2:50（下午参赛队）集合，每队有1～2辆车
carpool来到比赛场地。

least it used to be. I played a few times there, lots of loose passive non
pro players.. That is why ppl got richer a lot faster in Commerce than Vegas.

'vulture' game these days where players arrange to start at the same time
and once fish busts everyone leaves at the same time. The only exception is
during LAPC or Commerce tournaments where more money/players are gathered,
even then, these days the half PLO half NL games is taking over as the big
unlimited game while there are still white chip games for mixed/LHE.

政府的公权力能有多逆天？经典案例Wickard v. Filburn
话说很多美国政府干过的事情中国政府想都不敢想，比如说著名的案例Wickard v.
Filburn。Roscoe Filburn是一个老实巴交的农民，1940年他因为多收了三五斗被联邦
政府罚款（大萧条时期政府限制播种担心丰收压低粮价），Filburn大喊冤枉说自家种
的谷物都是自家用，又不在市场出售和政府何干？他一怒之下把农业部长Claude
Wickard告上法庭。
这个官司居然最后一直打到最高法院，1942年最高法院九名法官全票判该农民败诉，原
因是：如果你不种那么多小麦你就得去市场上买小麦吃。你的不作为也是影响了市场，
政府当然有权管你。这么牵强的判决一直到九十年代United States v. Lopez一案才被
推翻。

利比亚反抗军虽然已经占领了卡扎菲的大本营，但没有见到卡扎菲的踪影。还有部分卡
扎菲的残余部队占领着首都的黎波里的部分地区。反抗军计划周三继续发动攻击，计划
全面占领的黎波里。
《法新社》8月24号早晨发自利比亚的快讯报导说，叙利亚电视台播放了卡扎菲的一段
录音讲话，卡扎菲自己说，他在没有被人看见的情况下独自在的黎波里街头散步。
