QQ上近期一直有北大兰大南京大学等地的同学问候，惊闻李宝安回国周游
列校。同学们问我要不要去Texas A&M University-Commerce 物理系（即
李宝安处）。这里先说一下我的观点：我不推荐任何人去那里！
当初我们是很傻很天真、受人蒙骗才上了Texas A&M University-Commerce
物理系 这条贼船的。 突然不断听到有同学们向我索问该校该系诸老师的
具体情况，顿时百感交集，深感自身责任重大：我们不能让更多的无辜学
生再无端遭此劫难，是有此文。
先交代一下 TAMU-Commerce 物理系的基本情况：
1）它和 TAMU-College station（即德州农机本校）一点关系也没有；
2）曾经在 US news 上有过一个专业120的排名，但之后找不到了，李会经
常拿那份排名出来给人看，但实际上专业排名在前400 是找不到这所学校
的；
3）这里并不全免学费，每个学期各种费用加起来要交2000刀美元；
4）这里没有PhD, 只有Master, 学生每月工资只有八百多刀美元，所以如

玩10/20很久，如果再赢个10k我就撤。主要是考虑到上学压力大，不想玩太大影响学习
，万一run bad把学费输了就惨了。还有commerce离我住的地方太远，不方便，所以打
算以后还是去我附近的赌场玩5/5.那里swing小，大家都玩得很差，easy money，读书

提了。
job description中要求会SQL, SAS 和 R，编程语言要求会java, python or perl,还
要求会运用machine learning and predictive model。在学校上过python基础课，工
作时候编过很简单的数据处理自动化小程序。面试的时候这个职位也没有考coding，更
没有问我machine learning, 老板是MBA背景，完全不会coding. 我自己文科转统计背
景，对machine learning没有什么经验，这个offer虽然拿到了，不知道自己能不能胜
任。ecommerce risk and fraud 这一块，是不是已经很成熟了，有现成model可以应用
？是不是只要SAS或R script就可以了？
比较喜欢这个职位的原因就是e-commerce risk management and predictive model这一
