。在正常情况下，他能在office里谈笑风生，一旦遇到压力情况，比如，工作上的事被
老板或者同事公开指责，四邻皆惊，他的脸上就挂不住了，心跳开始加速，音调开始颤
抖，想要反击，嘴里边崩出来的都是不连贯的词语，还都词不达意，真是失败！大家讨
论一下，这类人应该如何提高情商，让他即使是在加压的情况下，也能谈笑风生。
我先谈谈自己的看法，这是因为他对事情太过执着和在意，if he does not care the
matter,他就能在放松的心情下对问题进行解释，在加压的条件下，更加彰显他的处理
能力，从而变坏为好。
（2）如何提高communication skill？我观察到有这样一类的人，技术大牛，但就不能
跟别人把问题讲清楚。有的人，技术马马虎虎，但是听他讲东西，有头有尾，清晰舒心

我們五月初才搬的家，LD卻突然遇到一個新的工作機會，要馬上就上任。
目前是決定讓LD先過去，找個地方先安定下來。
我再慢慢處理這邊的房子與尋找新地方安家。
可憐他已經兩個月內連續出差四次了，滿世界飛來飛去，只好由我來想辦法找新窩。
昨天緊急研究了一下，感覺 Parsippany 環境挺適合LD孤家寡人過簡單日子的。
20分鐘以內的車程，下了班可以順路買個飯盒就回家看電視。
平價的one/two bedrooms很多，尤其這種有公司管理的apartment community看起來挺
省心的。
請問我這個想法ok嗎?
與 house 或 condo 相比，apartment community 除了透過leasing公司承租，還有什
麼地方不同?

By law，加州婚后工资之类的都是community property。你选择不是，就得签正式的
separate property agreement，然后就要keep the money separate，一旦commingle
又变成community property。用separate money支付community property费用就是
commingle之一。然后离婚的时候就更有意思了。
我之所以回这个贴，是觉得这样一点不懂法律，就自己瞎琢磨省税，太naive。
还有，如果都填对了的话，MFS大多数情况下都比MFJ多交税。 |

Communication of the ACM 是一个杂志，难道nature ,science不是杂志么？是杂志就是
给一般普通读者看的。nature ,science的文章也是面向普通读者的，篇幅比较短小，文字
和表述并不是多么的高深。但是在nature ,science上发表文章代表着一个非常重要的成果
。Communication of the ACM 上发表文章也是一个道理。
作为一个杂志自然有很多专栏，有一些文章可以说没有什么研究性质。nature ,science每
一期不是也有新闻报道之类的专栏么？你不会以为David A. Patterson 会把自己在CACM上
每期一次的President's letter当作自己的RESEARCH PUBLICATION吧？我说在CACM上发表
文章自然是发表research paper.

很多人觉得说得越快communication就越好
其实上周面试我的一个老美，说得比我还慢得多
虽然这些人不能算是communication出色
但至少不会成为bottleneck
任何事情，想清楚了再有条理地说出来，
快和流利不重要,清晰有条理才是最重要的
native speaker也不一定做到这点
当然，这对communication要求极高的consulting可能不适用
不过对于insurance公司来说，只要语言不拖你后腿就行
我是见过几个及其腼腆说话也不利索的老美干精算的
大大增强了我的自信心，哈哈

的决定。我们一开始submit的时候就是选的conventional subscription， 丝毫没有任
何影响。当然了，我们的文章原来是Nat Med水平的，后来被一个reviewer给黑了，没
办法只能转投Nat Commun.
Rao Yi在很多事情上的立场是很对的，尤其是现在敢说真话的人不多了。但是在Nat
Commun这个事情上绝对是很SB的，就事论事。 |

Rao Yi当初批判Nat Commun的时候就是说只要是文章不造假，数据solid, 然后肯交那
5000美刀的OA fee, Nat Commun不管什么文章都给发。他当时没仔细看，人家Nat
Commun OA fee是可选择的，交不交完全是作者决定，不会影响文章的接收与否。后来
好多人抓住Rao Yi这个漏洞狠狠的批他，后来他就沉默了，认栽了。 |

去年这个时候有人预测Natue Communication影响因子为9左右，结果后来过了10.
原因很简单：Nature Communications 引用格式和传统期刊不一样。最终的影响因子需
要把这些有效引用但暂时没被wos收录的找回来。 |

transfer service, 应该直接submit as a new manuscript. 因为如果你们Nature
comments不好的话（你说reviewer有一堆意见），Nature commun也不会给你们发表的
。我们当时就是直接重新submit的，没有选transfer.
我觉得关键的问题在于你要正确分析到reviewer comments里面的弦外之音，因为如果
你选择manuscript transfer的话，不光是reviewer comments会transfer, 还有
confidential comments to editor也会transfer, 这个是你无法看到的，保不齐就有
