governments (at all levels) paid too much attention to immediate GDP growth
(shortsighted), and spent too much energy and money on "infrastructure",
rather than nurturing a fair and growing domestic market which would
encourage businesses to build core compentencies through long term product
development strategies.

我在这个领域是一个新手，western blot 和protein express 都是第一次做，故问题多
多。感觉做生物学真是一项非常锻炼人人的行业，不断的失败，再失败。信心都被磨没了
。直到对失败都麻木了，然后信心又一点一点建立来。幸亏有这个BBS，有这个biology版

experienced embarrasments ,we both chose the non-traditional field for Chinese
students. You impressed me for your compentency chairing meetings. I have
trouble catching up group discussion, let alone leading a meeting...How the
