從2016年1月1日起，本藥被世界反運動禁藥機構（WADA）列為運動比賽的禁藥，因為米
屈肼被認為是左旋肉鹼的先導物質，具有提升服用者的體能耐久度的效果。然而，目前
已知有運動員在此藥被列為禁藥之前就已在使用。
万爽力。心绞痛发作的预防性治疗。眩晕和耳鸣的辅助性对症治疗。 本药品被归类到
心绞痛等药品。曲美他嗪（trimetazidine，或者万爽力）被世界反兴奋剂机构（WADA
）加入禁药清单，但仅限比赛内禁止（In-Competition）而非全面禁止（In – And
Out-Of Competition，或者说Prohibited At All Times），也就是说，比赛外仍可以
服用。在世界反兴奋剂机构2014年的禁药清单中，曲美他嗪的分类为S.6.b，即“刺激
剂”(S6. Stimulants)条目下的“特定刺激剂”(b: Specified Stimulants)。
