制定法律的时候没有考虑将来的可能出现的新东西不影响法律的适用性的。“engage

的是不是为了mutual aid 或者protection？两条都满足了，为什么不能受这个法律的

发帖数: 31 | 5 昨天晚上4点回来时还是满大街的party goer，中午爬起来还有无比的hang over.
nnd, 又是个阴天。我吸取昨天almost冻死的教训，穿上了只要去滑雪才穿的long
underwear, 睬上单车直奔lincoln memorial的音乐会。
路障在离mall七八个街区就设好了，基本上k街向南就全是步行街了，两边停满了外
地来的大巴，看了一下牌照，最远的从oregon来的，近的georgia, florida等的车
也好多。每个街口都有穿迷彩的armed police和军车把守，马上让我联想到了6。4。
前往concert的人络绎不绝，街边于是就有很多摆摊的，我买了一个obama头像的像
章别在衣服上。
到了lincoln memorial, 结果说是有concert ticket票的人才给进。没票由17街进，
或去washington monument底下看大屏幕。nnd, 明明说的是免费音乐会， 结果还
是分369等，心里暗骂了几句贪婪的米犹，就朝17街赶去。constitution上已经是人
满为患了，根本不能骑车，只能推这。到了17街入口，里面reflectio |

典音乐，但是大雅也能大俗，车就喜欢日系，觉得一个代步工具讲究的是实惠可靠。欧
系太装，没必要。我反而感觉装得人都是肚子里没有的，凡有点墨水的外边就不用装了。
省下钱来，亲自去趟欧洲，听两场concert，不比开个德车强？实在是concert听腻了，
家里字画古董摆不下了，欧洲去烦了，捐给康妈也是好的呀。没必要把钱砸在一个消费
品上。说到底，车也就是一个消费品，还谈不上艺术品吧。再说了，欣赏不等于占有，
艺术的最高境界在于创造，不是占有别人的创造。 |

弦乐队很少。 我们这那个最著名的Marching Band，得了无数个全美国第一，每天下午
练习。
没看过Marching Band表演的同学，可以上Youtube上面看看AAA的，那气势，那阵仗，
不是吹的 ：）
Concert我也是每次去听，不怎么懂，除非是世界名曲。 还是学了些东西，比如知道同
样是黑管，谁谁吹高音部，谁谁吹Support， 谁谁吹Background。

发帖数: 334 | 20 因为女儿所在的Wind Ensemble 要与Orchestra 合演一支曲子，我们第一次去看了学校
的 Orchestra Concert 。（原谅我用英文吧，我实在翻译不好这些名词）
先是 6年级的学生演奏。接下来是 Chamber Orchestra 的演出。Chamber Orchestra
是6、7、8三个年级里挑出来的学生组成的。听着看着，然后发现，这其中，黑头发黄
皮肤的占大多数，得有三分之二。
再下来是7、8年级合演。舞台上都坐满了，总共将近90个学生，很壮观哪。Violin I，
Violin II， Viola，Bass， Cello。很好听。然后7 年级的学生离开，一个8年级的
女生 Violin 独奏，有钢琴伴奏，演完之后掌声雷动，很多听众站了起来在鼓掌，然后
又有很多人也陆续跟着站起来鼓掌，有人给这女生献花。接下来就是Wind Ensemble 走
上舞台坐好，与Orchestra 合演了一支曲子。然后是8年级的学生演奏。最后一曲是7、
8年级合演的。
整个是近1.5 个小时的音乐会。真的感觉很不错。下个周四，是Band Concert 了，包

发帖数: 981 | 21 很有意思的顾虑. 对于男孩子, 我觉得美国整体文化还是比较包容的.
我老二幼儿园有个男老师, 没有人觉得有什么 out of the place, 也不会认为
他"女性化", 反而会平衡男女儿童成长中在学校受的影响, 给幼儿园加分.
同理, 男护士也一样, 我觉得 non-gendered socialization 就是让社会对男女
角色定义更"flexible", 更包容.
至于服装, 其实女孩子穿男性化的衣服和男孩子穿女性化的衣服应该会遇到相似
的问题, 都不是那么appropriate, 我倒觉得"中性化"未必要抹去这些区别,
真的抹去了, 就不叫中性化, 而是男人女性化, 女人男性化了. 比如我家老大
不穿裙子(recital和concert除外)没人觉得她像男孩子, 但非诚勿扰的1号
女嘉宾我觉得从外形到气质都很男性化.
就像说到"女权主义者"大家会想到不戴胸罩不刮体毛的女人一样, 某种程度都是
偏见, 真正的"女权主义者"只是观点和思维上善于捕捉各种显性或隐性的男女不
平等, 提倡社会去除偏见, 维护平等权益而已. 很多北欧的国家对男女角色就
很少"传统偏见".

发帖数: 5035 | 22 我们这里青年乐团前面2任concert master, 都是小学5年级左右开始学的小提琴，以前
是学钢琴的，都是2-3年就成为了第一小提琴手，当然他们很有天赋，也都付出了很多
努力，他们初中都是home school，这2娃，现在一个在某藤校读书，也是学校乐团第一
小提琴，另外一个在朱丽叶级别的某音乐学院里面主修钢琴小提琴。乐团中还有一个韩
国娃，现在是第5位置，是初中才改学的小提琴。当然，从小学提琴的concert master
肯定更多，要作到出色水准，努力和天资都不可缺少。
坐不住的娃，确实适合改学小提琴，小提琴可以参与团队活动，还是比较好坚持一些的
，学过钢琴以后，小提琴上手很快，省去了识谱困难，也不大会有刚开始时候的拉锯难
听阶段。俺家熊娃是小学4年级改学的小提琴，虽然木有啥出色的，但也还行, 还蛮喜
欢去乐队和大家一起混的，俺们期望也不高。 |

I have been playing Minuet in G in the past 3 months. I will also play this
cello song for the upcoming recital.
I like Minuet in G because of the style and technique. For the style, It is
a fancy occasion dance music. It is different and more formal than other

今天的最后一站，打算是在Little Italy附近的Mo's Restraunt吃他们有名的Blue Cra
b。嗯，这些做法倒是不错，可是，透过玻璃窗一看，天啊，都是海大的一盘，这我哪抗
得住啊，俺是出门消耗卡路里的，可不是出来做“蟹填鸭”的。沿着Little Italy的海
边走，经过Marriot，居然看到一家在海港尖尖上的Caffee，露天的坐着，非常吸引人。
走进去，要了个Crab cake的Sandwich。嗯，这样的晚饭应该不错，重点是，分量没有那
么多。
坐下来，左手边远远的湾旁边，有黑黑的厂房，上面居然亮着Domino Sugars。哈，突然
想起，Baltimore好像就是炼糖的好地方，而且，就是我们厨房常用的Domino的大本营。
嗬嗬，看过去，拱拱手，嗯，久仰，久仰。
正对面的海湾旁，有红色房子，上面用蓝色和红色，嵌成了cute的LOVE，O自成了小小的
红心。右手边，就是热闹的Concert Pavilion，今天晚上正好有Jazz Concert。待着吃

traditions of giving thanks. It would be a great event to get together, get
to know fellow alumni and celebrate the holiday! We will be going to

Notes:
All concerts and events are free of charge, acts and times subject to

There is limited seating for the concerts at Petrillo Music Shell.
Tickets are not required -- it's general admission on a first come, first
serve basis and opens 30 minutes before showtime so it's best to line up

演唱会的票分三档，好像分别是48，78和122，这个大概在十几排的正中间，再往前的票是给Wynn自己酒店的客人预留的，外面也买不到。我是在开始卖票后几天买的，所以应该已经是能买到的最好的那类票了。

去看了昨天的，受体育馆室内场地的限制，the wall现在只能叫the small wall，从in
the flesh的第一个音符飘出，整个
honda center就开始弥漫起浓浓的大麻味道，
the wall不是传统意义上大多人想当然的演唱会，也无法和其他的rock concerts甚至
是pink floyd其他的concerts去做比
较，roger waters已经远远超越了一个rock star的含义，虽然很大程度是因为时代的
缘故
昨天前后左右都在讲他们三十年前看roger waters的经历，有一部分人甚至是一直追随
着演唱会旅行的，有人讲他会一直追
到米兰的最后一场，对这些人来说，2010年的巡演意义非凡，因为你不可能再等另一个
三十年去看已经66岁的roger
waters了。
有谣言说David Gilmour会在最后一场出现，good luck. |
