The main reason we build this safe room is from an incident few years ago.
Long story short, our family was robbed at gun point.
I believe this was connected to some bad chinese people (although we did not
see their face), because they can prepared and knows what they want, they

of the jetty is paved with concrete and pretty smooth. It's a few hundred

skeleton with the right re-bar and/or re-mesh. The rest is easy, just apply
the concrete mix to the skeleton. To achieve the look and feel you need, you
can experiment with colorant and other mixes. For example, construction
grout mix is more creamy and hence better for details.
If your masterpiece still looks like cheap concrete, don't worry. Just apply
milkshake, and grow moss. That should cover it up. |

1 赤脚走不舒服，也有不平的地方
2 砖缝里长草
3 砖缝里不少蚂蚁
咨询了一圈
先是想做pebble concret,应该也叫exposed aggragte concret
结果很多trade man都说，那是多少年前的东东了，似乎现在基本不做了
然后来了一个，说只能把全部砖刨掉重新搞水泥，可以做stencil concret, 水泥至少
75mm要价很高
我自己想，这个等于提前有个很好的的基础了，直接上面搞水泥上去，能有什么问题呢
？搞个三四个毫米应该可以的啊
不知道有没有和我类似经验的，求教！

一年多来一直在做混凝土材料研究，研究集中在self compacting concrete 在fresh的
时候的一些基本性质.
接下来的项目是一个桥梁的成本研究，主要是做一些survey，不会涉及很多的结构。
同时也会继续混凝土材料方面的研究，会做fresh concrete 的 rheology的研究，以及
nanomaterial在SCC中的应用等。
请问：
1. 申请PHD concrete material 方向，结构桥梁方向的，哪个将来就业面比较宽？
2. 本科civil学的结构方面知识，只能记住基本概念了，接下来的桥梁project又不会
涉及很多的结构知识，所以如果申请结构方向，比较没底。请教桥梁结构PHD 对背景要
求到什么层次？需要哪些专业课过硬？
3. 看到版上有岩土的哥们转了石油。兄弟我也流口水了。懂的人给说说，石油都有哪
些研究方向，我能转不？

怎么还会有问题呢。
不过木结构民房一般哪有用concrete filled metal deck 做 floor 的。
用在1-2 stories 民房为了大的 opening都是 Ordinary Moment Frames, 用不着 SMF
，即使在加州。 可以看看 Simpson Prefabricated OMFs.

后来搜索了下,OSHA 10看起来相对简单很多就是报班无法避免一笔花费,NICET I(全程
大概是Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I?)似乎也挺多复习资料要去好好
看看才能去考,大概要好好准备下.不过说起来这位前辈只是简单说了句NICET+concrete
的资格认证(因为他和我说inspector的话这个很加分,而construction manager的入门
分支之一就是inspector,加上estimator/scheduler),但是在网站上有一大堆和
concrete的资格认证,是不是上面我猜的这个都不
知道...
那么就各位前辈们在当初找工作和经验里了解到的业界来说,除了FE以外,一般entry
level的土木工作,有那些资格证明能够给简历加分,同时本身不需要工作经验可以通过

所以我在想在做bonding的时候，要怎么做？有什么命令吗？

看完后我只能说一句。。。露珠湿沙壁。。。这不是说这方法本身对或者不对，而是说
这个 link 里的思考方式完全是 concrete thinking 而不是 formal thinking (
Piaget 教育学术语）。。。而对于具体这题，这都没有探讨是不是存在从非优化的
Dynamic Programming 的 O(n^2) 算法，用 formal operation 规约出更优化的 O(n*
log(n)) 算法。。。而直接回到 concrete operation 去了。。。这就算把这丢手绢题
本身做对了，数学马工学意义也有限啊。。。这就相当于对 AIME 毫无兴趣，但对 AMC
8 倒是情有独钟。整一个儿父母版 AMC8 推妈的感觉。。。话糙理不糙。 |

operation 能
力，很难理解 3*3 这种 xform geometry based spatial perception。
当然试试无妨，没必要强迫。简单的直接拿三角形玩具拼就是了。但用处不大，因为纯
concrete operation 学校老师会教。 |
