What your need to do is get on the ground and carefully look at your AC
condenser, look for any rock chips and damage. It's possible a rock damage
is causing the leak. Replace the condenser labor cost is about $100 if you
buy the condenser yourself on Amazon.

多第三方compressor的保修要求同时换掉condenser否则保修无效，另外dryer也要换，
不过dryer很便宜。 |

下班后去看发现：屋外的CONDENSER FAN 不转。
调查：FAN 没有机械卡除，MOTOR外壳是热的，烫手，估计越45 degC，MOTOR的两个绕
组的电压正常。
初步结论：因为CONDENSER FAN 不转，所以高压高热的FREON无法散热，导致空调失灵。
CONDENSER FAN 不转的原因判定：可能是MOTOR故障，也有可能是MOTOR“列相用的”（
下面解释）电容器故障。
朋友是07年月装的空调，找到了收据，打电话询问保修条款。答：Labor一年，Parts五
年。找他们来换要charge labor 180刀。我们自己驱车去，凭原来的收据拿到了新的
MOTOR和电容器，他们也不要原件。
先换上了新的电容器，一试，FAN就欢快地转了起来。整个房子也随之有了冷气。新的
MOTOR就留作备件了。
修理花费：$0, 还赚了一个新的MOTOR，约$100.
关于“列相”电容器的解释：简单的交流电动机起码需要两个定子绕组，当两个定子绕
组所加的电压相差90度时，定子上就会产生一个旋转磁场，带动（吸着）转子转动。一

next we need to either change compressor only, or change the whole condenser
unit, which was what he recommended. he needs me to buy the unit and he'll

您的问题，就未来修理的方向，说点看法，五年内，漏了coil 再漏condenser unit,
类似这类情况很少发生，如果找回原来公司修，没有选择，必须得换外机，到不如放弃
这家公司，重新找一家成熟点的公司，重新检查，做一次分段式的氮气压力测试，确认
到底是漏在indoor coil位置还是外机condenser coil，还是lineset，还是只是焊接处
漏(有可能的)。这种虽然是最传统的检查方式，而且可能会多等待点时间，但是准确率
是100%的。Lineset 漏的可能性几乎零，一般从外机到indoor coil 之间的的铜管中间
是没有接头的。
检查结果如真是漏在condenser coil，把机子的型号贴上来，看看是单换外机coil合算
还是整机合算个。从一些同学反馈回来的信息，压力测试的费用在150左右吧。氮气的
费用加上一些烧焊东西也就二，三十刀，关键是要看您怎么跟师傅去谈。 |

个帖子，觉得还是在这个帖子里问比较好，就转到这里来。
我在南加州，离海边不是太远，冬天不冷，夏天不热，房屋有比较好的insulation，空
调其实用的不是太多，夏天晚上肯定用不到空调，稍微开一下窗户就有凉风，晚上有时
候还需要关上窗户，要不然有点冷。冬天可能更需要空调，但是没有也不是不能能忍受
。现在的空调是25年前的，冷热都用电，不是太管用，需要换一个新的。有空调屋子肯
定更舒服，所以准备装一个新的。
在Angie list上找了两个评价都非常好的公司来估价。管道都还好，不用换，只是换空
调。
第一家建议用heat pump就行，基本价格$9304，heat pump是lennox 14HPX，5ton 14
SEER。air handler 是CBX32M。如果换成15SEER的的XP13 condensor再加$613,换成16.
5 SEER的XP14 加$958。换成CBX27UV的 air handler多加297美元，换成CBX40UHV的air
handler多加659美元。

把condenser 洗干净, 增加热交换效率是一回事,
用水把condenser 冲凉, 又是另外一回事,

Head pressure/pressure difference 降低,
会制造给压缩机更大的工作量,
就像是在冬天室外温度低的时候开空调,

wet condenser is a really bad idea
用mist system 节省的能源, 根本比不上水气造成的伤害,
水气蒸发以后的lime scale, 造成condenser 热交换效率下降,
还会造成生锈腐蚀减少condenser 寿命,
最重要的是制造产生Legionnaires' disease细菌喜欢的环境,
好孩子不要学喔 |

不管用那种coil, 达到16 SEER 的效率需要ECM furnace 配合。

1 hour dropping from 90 to 75, it does not sound bad at all!
to tell if it is working fine or not, use a thermometer, measure the
temperature at the intake of the vent and the outlet of the AC, a
temperature difference between 14-20F is considered normal. A good unit can
generate a temperature difference of 20F.
consider cleaning the evaporator (the unit in your basement or attic) and
the condenser coil (the metal fins around your condenser fan in the outdoor

号）， 现在有相似的情况，furnace 还好，就打算换indoor coil 和 外机(空调)就行
里，家里面积2088， 其中 一个估价是装 5 ton Carrier and Day&Night SEER 14. 并且
我们主机在阁楼里，估计给了5800$, 如果全换包括furnace, 估计8000$. 我在南加，
不知道是否合理这些价钱，是否4ton已经够了， 价钱会便宜 1/5？万分感谢！
对了，新的机器都用新的制冷剂，不是现在的R22!据说比以前便宜一半价钱。
另外因为现在老的空调制冷剂都漏光了而且condenser almost died，另外一个韩国人
给的估价还用老的R22,只换condenser and outside coil, 估价给的2500$. 不知道是
否合理？手中缺钱呀！ |

没变化，然后就切换成Alt Heating, 用furnace 就出暖风了。
我HomeWarranty的公司打电话推销AC 维护，我就同意了。过来后，我说了我发现的问
题。他们检查后告诉我楼上的系统没有压力，哪里有Leak。查了很久告诉我，Coil
leak，我没实际看到，但是看到系统没有压力，他们给我看了视频，一个有铜锈的东西
上有气泡。
给了两个方案：

其实我觉得没必要，
一是condensation boiler没有传统的那么durable
二是condensation boiler是在ideal的条件下测出来的，
据说实际使用中，根本达不到，比如return的水温过高，
condensation就不充分。我问过的几乎所有contractor，都不是
很推荐。去年有tax rebate还可以考虑投资，现在没有tax rebate，
光是masssave的rebate不足以justify |

我就是用MD + 很小的condenser mic
录音用。那种小condenser mic一般是给小camcorder用的。
不知道怎么设计的，好像有个内置的compressor, 所以当
现场声音小的时候，他会自动增加敏感度，如果录单独一个乐器会显得很傻。
但如果你选择正常的condenser mic,就象我前面说的，你得考虑phantom power/preamp
还得mix，太麻烦了。 |

再把数字型号转成模拟的这么转来转去" 这个理由就觉得那样的mixer不行。

我有个usb input的普通mic（还未买condenser的），也是发现有"把这个mic当作一个
独立的声卡"的问题，以致不能用到声卡上的mixing功能。

Microphone就不用mixer了？ btw, 不自己伴奏
另外我看到的一个版本是电脑接mixer mixer接dynamic MIC和receiver 的 这个的好处是不是以
后升级成家庭卡拉ok方便？
还有个问题是receiver可以用好的耳机作为monitor吗？ |

只是根据懒龙的效果是因为她vocal好，
这样就可以比较10块钱的和现在的麦克的好坏。
小楼说的st77没有见到有啥评论关于声音的，
外形像是典型的除U87以外的代工产品。
不敢多说。

电容麦通常会分成大振膜和小振膜，
通常认为大膜片的音质比较柔，声音温暖，灵敏度高，
而小膜片的比较硬，小膜片比较常用于乐器录音。
对于人声的录制来说，一般流行用大振膜就可以了
因为那样声音比较饱满，灵敏度比小振膜的高 特别是女声。
也会分成纯电容话筒以及背极电容话筒。（背极话筒是驻极体话筒的一种）
一个电容话筒的音头是驻极体音头还是纯电容音头，对于厂家来说是比较重要的。因为
通常在音头尺寸大小一样的条件下，驻极体音头的成本要低一些，所以通常售价会便宜
一些。
那么AT2020好像确实是小振膜驻极体话筒，所以可能在录制人声上不见得会有优势。
但是价格上应该是不错的。
