去年夏天的一个下午，和几个朋友一起去Yankees Stadium 看球，那
天正好是Old Timer's Day, 天气也很好，Stadium内外人群熙熙攘攘
，一片祥和气氛。我们搞了几张黄牛票，随着大队人马入了场。
先发投手是David Cone。那天是他的Perfect Game之后的第一场比赛
。
Perfect Game, 27 up, 27 down, Baseball Immortality.
对手好象是明尼苏达，也可能是别的队，但是Who
cares，所有YANKEE球迷心中的英雄在投球。
比赛在全场喝彩声中开始。Cone那天远远不够完美，2,3局就被夯出5
,6分，而Yankees也就输掉了这一场。但人人也没觉得怎样，可以理
解嘛，Perfect Game后有些松懈。我们也纷纷拍了些照片，高高兴兴
回家了。
但谁也没想到，我们目睹了David Cone Yankee生涯坠落的最开端。
天下没有不散的宴席。Cone加盟Yankees六年后，终于决定脱下箭条
衫，Yankee迷们也要黯然挥别自己所爱戴的投手。

我用了一个例子，比如 EIKONAL 方程 p*p + q*q = 1
做出来就是一个CONE。
其实这里还有一个隐函数或者是q=q(p) 或者是p =p(q) 存在
如果假设 Fp*Fp + Fq*Fq =/= 0. Fp 是F对p的偏导数。
结果就是如你所说，过(x0,y0,z0)的所有切面是个单参数曲面族。
参数是p 如果q=q(p)； 也可以是q 如果p=p(q). 假设参数是p吧。
如果切面族是个锥， 那么他们的法线族也是个锥（同意吗？）问题就集中在
( p, q(p), -1) 一定是个锥吗？
如果是个CONE的话，这个cone的轴的方程怎么确定？ 谢谢。

我对这个问题也是蛮感兴趣的，回家翻看了一下Fritz John 的那本书，大概知道了是
怎么回事。
我们要解一个非线性两变数的偏微分方程：
F(x,y,u,p,q) = 0
这里，p = u_x, q = u_y.
这个方程的解确定一个积分曲面， z = u(x,y).
假定(x0,y0,z0)是积分曲面上的一点。则通过这一点的所有可能的切面形成一个Monge
Cone.
理由如下：
在一点的曲面的正则方向为(p,q,-1).
那么通过这一点的切面方程可写为 z-z0 = p(x-x0) + q(y-y0).
另外，在这一点，p,q当然要满足原方程 F(x0,y0,z0,p,q) = 0.，也就是说，原方程对
p,q是有限制的。上述切面方程只带有一个参数。单参数切面族裹成一个cone. |

发帖数: 56 | 50 通常情况下，它会是一个锥，但也不一定。有时候会是一个形状奇怪的锥，也有可能退化成一段扇面，甚至退化成一条线。后面这一情况实际上经常发生：所有一阶线性或者拟线性篇微分方程都不会产生cone；法线都已确定。当然对线性和拟线性的方程的解法跟这里不一样了。
不管它的形状如何，所有法线组成的曲面方程可写作
(x,y,z)-(x0,y0,z0) = k*(p(alpha),q(alpha),-1), here k>=0, alpha is a parameter. |
