摘要
为早期教父们所传讲的成神（或神化）救恩论，是教父亚他那修用来打击亚流异端的关
键之一：因为众人，连亚流都相信，得救恩就是要成为神；如果耶稣基督不是神，那么
连他自己都需要得救恩而成神，怎能将救恩带给我们人呢？然而这成神论于过去的十几
个世纪，仅被西方与华人基督教所隔离的东正教保存着。而一般人都认为西方神学的主
流早已不谈成神的救恩论了。
但从一九七○年以来，于北欧所掀起的一连串神学研究，西方神学家发现，似乎由东方
神学一直保存的Theosis「人成为神」之思想，其实一直以隐藏的方式被西方神学家所
注重。他们指出：于奥古斯丁、阿奎那、路德、加尔文、圣公会、卫理宗、约拿单爱德
华、C. S. 鲁易士等西方神学家的着作中，「神化」这名词虽然没有频繁地出现，这思
想却一直存在着，而且「神化」救恩论将上述这些人士的神学思想连贯了起来。
本文简介过去三十多年来西方神学对『神化』的研究书籍，由这些雨后春笋般的出版，
我们察觉西方神学家正对这救恩目的的真理展开一个新的研究方向。
