300MILE远的地方读博5年。LD带小孩，选择开Outback。打算买第二辆车，我主开，打
算一两周一趟，基本都是highway, 来回600Miles，估计一年要2W迈。主要考虑Sedan (
Midsize)，打算五年后换车。
1. 主要需求：（1）长途开起来舒适的，特别是对背支撑比较好的；（2）
reliability & safety，（3）长途boring,如果驾驶感比较好，有娱乐性最好.
2. 油耗方面不是太差就行。现在的Outback highway 25 左右，觉得怎么也会比这
个好一些。
3. 预算最好在3万以内，还要买房。
4. 考虑过BMW 328xdrive, or Benz C class，但5年下来迈数太高，考虑
reliability, resale, 和maintenance 费用等因素，觉得目前还不是最佳选择。
5. 住在Indianapolis附近，冬季有两个月的时间还是会下雪，可能觉得AWD还是很
重要？

Honda CRV 2010 problem list: 85,000 replaced catalytic converter, 5 times
under normal maintenance had to replace 4 quarts of oil, replaced timing
cover, replaced a/c compressor, call Honda and all I got was "please call
your dealership". Every single issue I had has a safety notice attached to
it so obviously Honda realized it was a problem. Please stand by your cars.

variable ( which encapsulates their own locks). notify() wait() 来做的。
现在网站上的文档成了一个 信号， 这样 full 和 empty 时候所有的 producer 或
consumer 都会唤醒， 浪费。
用explicit. java.concurrent lock. and conditional variable 可以写出来， 但如

这里简单摘要一下。顺便加一点评论。
1. The kitchen is still king. 美国的买房人最注重的就是厨房。你卖房时，最好所
有的电器都是新的，并且要是不锈钢的外表。 counter top和地板都必须无瑕。柜子门
必须良好。 墙要刷新漆。 高端的counter top现在流行Engineered Quartz。
2. Make floor plan work harder。 大面积不一定是好。 关键是"open floor with
flexible living space"。 房子的公共区域要开放， 把各种隔离墙去掉。 装修过的
地下室绝对划算。 装修阁楼也是可行的。 房间的功能最好是灵活的。如果有可能，加

their electric statement. I received a notification email from them at Dec
31th which clearly stated that I was qualified for all of the four
requirements.
Then today, they send me the notification email again for January and my
status is "did not qualify" because I did not enroll the electric statement.
I think they just try to deny the $50 bouns and my interest.

with the company, I was never late with my monthly payments, always stayed
under my credit line, and never charged my credit card for any purposes
other than making a legitimate purchase.

checkout，把买的东西一件一件单独checkout，一周买一次菜的话有2-3周就攒够12次
消费了。信用卡消费去考古MS
2. one direct deposit OR one ACH debit OR pay one bill when using Consumers
Credit Union's free online bill payment system。 也就是说pay一个bill就可以
了，不用非要DD

打电话给CS了。
1） debit card 一定要当credit card 用, 不输pin，无论网上和local.
2） CS说用debit card在amazon和walmart网上消费之前要打电话给amazon让他们把你
setup的debit card视为credit card,否则amazon会自动视为debit card 你就得不到
debit card 消费次数了。当然，我不知道amazon会不会坚持说这是debit card。
2） CS 说没有最低消费。
我准备用debit card 分数次刷电话费。
至于MS,太麻烦了。如果不需要用debit card很多次的话， credit card 还是应该能到
的。
哎，为挣点interest...， 不容易啊:-)

第一个月只让你存1000元在账户里。然后你第一个月得完成各项要求，第二个月才能允
许你开始从 外部银行往里转钱，
而且最多只能转10K。
别的银行从 外部银行往里转钱都没限制的。
