在Utah南部旅游，小城Moab是个不能错过的地方。原因并不是这里有拱门和峡谷地两个
国家公园以及可以和国家公园媲美的死马点州立公园，而是在Moab，你能看见各种各样
奇怪的游人，攀岩，漂流，山地车，越野摩托，大部分我能想象到的极限运动，在Moab
都能找到。所以这个小城又被称作美国的冒险之都“the adventure capital”。
攀岩是最常见的，Moab周围的地貌都类似拱门，路边都是大起大落的岩壁，这里常常能
看到开着汽车的攀岩者，把车在路边一停，拿出绳子和头盔，简单的准备就开始爬墙。
开车出Moab不久，就能看到路边高耸的岩壁上都挂着人。这是我在路上见过的最cool的
风景。而在这个时候，我总是会拿起相机，拍下这悬崖上的芭蕾。
在Moab南面，当我开车前往Canyonland的路上，我又看到了攀岩的人。这一队人有三个
，其中有个亚裔mm在做滞后的保护（belay）。我在路边停了车，刚拿出相机，这个mm

发帖数: 1052 | 13 买了imore上次推荐的honeywell thermostat http://www.homedepot.com/p/Honeywell-7-Day-Universal-Programmable-Thermostat-RTH7500D/203534981，昨天换上后cool变成出热风了。请教一下哪儿出错了。
可能出错的情况有两种，1）线接错，２）program出错
原来的线一共有6跟， C,G,O,R,Y1，W2/E。对应的thermostat 接， C到C， G到G， O
到O/B，R到R（R和RC的jumper保留）， Y1到Y，最后一根我接到了W2，不知道对不对
program比较confusiｎｇ的是select system。 7，8，9，10我都试了，好像都不work
。我们家的空调是全电的，cool and heat，带AUX。请指正哪儿错了。

个AC
系统（compressor, accumulator etc),到了10年天热的时候，发现又不工作了，到了
tireplus，又全换了一遍，他们说全换一遍才能比较能保证系统能够在一起和谐工作。
这次只是减
了compressor的零件钱（因为under warranty),交了其他零件还有工人的费用（花了
500多
啊），唉，当时实在不懂，他怎么说，我就怎么换了。换完了AC的东西，说要换
radiation fan,
说因为radiation fan的问题，才导致的AC 坏的。其实我的compressor都不能免费换的
，因为
之前不是compressor质量不好坏掉的，是因为cooling fan 坏了所以导致compressor
坏的。
不过他们就不追究了，让再交500换cooling fan，我们一查，觉得不是fan的问题，就
没换。
后来空调用了2个多月，又不工作了，回到tireplus让他们能查leakage，他们说，就是

慢被大量的improvisation所取代，音乐变得越来越个人化。 在这之后Jazz音乐出现了
一个明显分叉，开始了冰火两重天的变化。 在一个方向上bebop特色的fast and
furious的节奏被有意慢下来，令人眼花缭乱耳朵应接不暇的复杂的各式各样的chord和
chord change逐渐被更具有旋律特点的improvisation和arrangement所取代。这种风格
通常被称作Cool Jazz, 或者 West Coast Jazz。
在Miles Davis的这张叫做Birth of Cool的专辑里，我们可以感觉到其实音乐的节奏非

究竟John是中文名，抑或Qiang是英文名。
说实在的，我在NY的时候，没少跟china town的china man打交道。我自以为能handle
得了任何不可救药的英语。然而Qiang or John英语之烂，还是让我糊涂了好一阵。
比方说，在提到他的Mrs. Ex的时候，他嘴里吐出的第一个词：house.
见我没听懂，他又说：she’s horse.
A horse? The big animal?
No, no, hole, hole, she’s hole.
A what?
百般无奈，他只好使用body language。
I see. She’s a whore. You mean she’s a whore, right? The street woman
right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. 他如释重负。

说来令人叫绝，那个F-word他音咬的倒很准，尽管他把her搞成了he。

本ID政见是站哪边的，8区的都清楚。这届CN版的版务，总体来说不错，
基本上遵守了goodegg上台时的方针。不过我还是要对版务提点意见。
就我的感觉，goforward和GPx，政见虽然1左1右，但基本保证了按照版规执法。
我个人最不满意的就是gxfc，最不满意的就是他的乱删贴。
比如正在讨论的帖子，突然被合集，设为不可回复。而且在版务专栏质疑也不回答。
或者正在讨论的帖子，被tzt删除。如果是删水，可以从最老的帖子区段，
为什么要删除正在讨论的帖子？如果讨论的帖子违反版规，那tzt还情有可原。
但很多tzt删除都是莫名其妙。比如前2天，有两个帖子。1个帖子是中央准许日本
外援队进入，内容是转播央视的消息，后面的跟贴正在讨论，被gxfc突然tzt。
另外1个帖子，是章子怡捐款100万的消息，跟贴大都也是发表赞扬肯定的态度，
并无任何违规，突然被tzt。在版务专栏质疑也没有回答。

发帖数: 601 | 44 我的小孩已经快两岁了，是个女孩。在她出生前我就计划将来把她送到美国去留学，或是送到美国去生活，完成我没有完成的梦想。倒不是因为我多么的哈美，其实任何西欧国家也都可以，而是相比较其他发达的西欧国家来说，去美国的门槛相对低一点，而且对于把英语作为第一外语的中国来说，语言上也比较好适应。

only. Do you refer to cool season grasses or warm season grasses? In
general, warm season grasses are cut much shorter than cool season grasses.
That said, warm season grasses probably don't have that much of a winter to

发帖数: 4431 | 50 黄石公园，作为全美第一个国家公园，它的美是无与伦比的。至于游览多长时间为好，
根据自己的时间和兴趣，要想每个景点看一遍，至少要在里面玩三天。大部分旅行社的
线路安排都是一整天，走马观花，在几个著名景点前拍照留念，到此一游。每年的黄石
公园线路总是最受欢迎的，今年8月份的线路提前一个月就定满了。西雅图出发5天大巴
团，比起飞到盐湖城、洛杉矶、拉斯维加斯来参团有利有弊。好处是省心，从家门口出
发，5天后返回，不需要经过飞行、接机送机的麻烦，费用低很多；缺点就是，坐车时
间长。好在沿途停留的景点不少。
下面这个线路，是西雅图一帮爱好旅游的老外定的线路，大部分是单身，参团并交友，
线路比我们的长一倍，安排了更多的游玩项目。当然，他们的费用是我们的6倍！线路
