说说我的经历吧，上次看了一辆车，私人，开价$18000，kbb good price。去看车，问底线，几
百块都不让。虽然车不错，我也急着要车，但是那么多现金不是小数目，我不如加个两千去dealer
那里，还可以贷款加保修。
后来那哥们说carmax直接给他$15000，要我给$15500。我就觉得好玩：当时降个几百一千的，我
说不定就拿了。现在好，接了low ball offer还想在我身上多赚个500。要是我卖车，四面quote
一下dealer价，直接开这个价给自己同胞算了，干嘛卖给dealer洗个车加$5000开卖呢？
我承认，当时还有一个想买大一点SUV的私心，所以就据了，可怜了那海龟哥们。不过估计别人也不
在乎，损失个小钱，帮这里的二手车市场坚挺一下价格，让后面的买车同学多花点钱，卖的时候也不
会太亏，赫赫。

wow, 我觉得比pictured rocks的m58要漂亮，只是没敢再一边开车一边video taping,
:). 今天去的野猪山，summit peak真的很漂亮，那段trail走的就跟仙境一样。 lake
clouds跟那个brockway drive一个意思。
昨天本来想住在houghton的，结果the reservation was not on the correct date。
long story short say, i had to sleep in my car in a place called l'anse.

北密时间
其实去北密看秋色，最重要的就是要掌握好时间。去早了，叶子还没有变色，去晚了叶
子都掉了。而且有些时候也需要一些运气，比如说掐好了peak的时间，但一场大风，叶
子都刮没了，所以要想看到最美的秋色，天时地利人和都非常重要。一般来说10月第一
个和第2个礼拜是去看北密秋色的最好的时间。
因为之前有去北密看秋色的计划，所以从9月初就开始在网上查看北密秋色的情况，也
问了很多之前去过那里的朋友。最后决定9月底的第一个周末（9/29）出发，在北密待
了4天，去了taquamenon falls, pictured rocks, copper harbor & 野猪山. 一天看
了一个地方。虽然这个时间去可能稍微早了一点，但因为我还有去algonquin的打算，
所以我当时觉得我宁愿去看moderate/high color，而不是到了加拿大以后看past peak
. 而且这次因为有camping的打算，所以还是更倾向于早一点去，不然的话天气可能会

melissa, 我去之前一直关注天气，知道要下雨。但这次是和小伙伴们一起去，当时人
都找好了，再改时间不太方便。今年去北密最好的时间是今天到这个星期5，去之前我
都研究过了。这个时间段去的话，必须要请假，但今年的假期里面根本没有留出看北密
秋色的时间，所以只能周末去碰碰运气，显而易见的是这次运气不在我们这边。
去年在41号公路的景色谈不上仙境，但颜色看着还不错了，至少车在里面开的时候感觉
挺不错的。这次到copper harbor的时候已经都晚上9pm, 为了赶时间，当时晚饭都没吃
。开到copper harbor以后，车上的妹子们一致要求开车回旅馆休息，所以简单看完41

北密，也称作为upper peninsula, 指的就是密西根过了mackinaw bridge以北的地方，
而之所以叫做peninsula, 就是因为密西根的上半岛几乎是被湖包围着.
在过去的3年里连续去了北密3次，11年是labor day wkend去了mackinaw city&
pictured rocks, 虽然没有看到传说中的北密秋色，但和密西根的小伙伴们玩的也挺
high. 后面2次是专程为了去看传说中的北密秋色. 只不过12年因为天时地利人和的原
因，看到了美的可以让人窒息的秋色，而13年，因为各种不给力，看到了满山大雾版的
北密秋色。
2014年，虽然居住的地方已经和密西根相隔千里，但心里还是想去看看北密的秋色。跟
以前不同，这次是飞到minneapolis, 然后开车去野猪山，41号公路& brockway drive.

我看了一下天气。简单说下i70，之所以爱下雪是因为vail pass的得天独厚地理条件。
同时i70必须经过。因此走i70同学务必提前查天气，主要几个地点：lovelandskiarea
， vail pass 还有grand junction。麻烦大家补充。

踏上北密之路前整整一个礼拜，这两句诗一直在我心头反复的翻滚。我的血管里从小就充满了对物理学和技术的崇拜，可我同时也喜欢古文，尤其是背古文，这大概跟我有个当语文老师的妈妈有关系。只不过她是教小学语文的，小学生学古文吗？忘记了。仔细想想，我觉得另一个原因是古文跟物理数学有某种共通之处，就是它们的简洁。几个符号，几个文字，蕴涵其中的却无穷尽，那种酣畅淋漓的想象，没有办法不让人感动。就像这句诗，绿如蓝，什么叫绿如蓝？说不上来。闭上眼睛想象一下，很美

就充满了对物理学和技术的崇拜，可我同时也喜欢古文，尤其是背古文，这大概跟我有
个当语文老师的妈妈有关系。只不过她是教小学语文的，小学生学古文吗？忘记了。仔
细想想，我觉得另一个原因是古文跟物理数学有某种共通之处，就是它们的简洁。几个
符号，几个文字，蕴涵其中的却无穷尽，那种酣畅淋漓的想象，没有办法不让人感动。
就像这句诗，绿如蓝，什么叫绿如蓝？说不上来。闭上眼睛想象一下，很美
于大侠的《三上北密》。那样的画面，只能用层林尽染来形容，如果不是亲眼所见，恐
怕很难相信颜色的层次能够丰富到如此的境界，而copper harbor这个遥远的地名也成

发帖数: 941 | 49 我们计划在10月17号那个周末用3天的时间从芝加哥开车到北密去看红叶，Copper
Habor是此行的最北端，但是我不太确定是否值得先经macknay city 绕道到pictured
rocks national lake shore 然后在北上到copper habor。因为之前看到的一个帖子说
pictured rocks 风景远不如 Keweenaw Peninsula。请各位密歇根的朋友指点一下，我
们好确定路线然后订旅馆。另外一个问题就是如果订不到旅馆在沿途找motel会不会很

准备去拍红叶。研究了一下大概9月底比较好。准备从wisconsin开到copper harbor。
哪位给个路线建议吧？
1. michigan的高速好开不？
2. 住在哪里比较好。旅馆是不是要现在订。
3. Ottwa和Nicolet两个national forest怎么样？适合拍照不？去游玩有啥要注意的？
4. Copper Harbor附近有啥好玩的，好吃的？拍照的话除了去湖边拍日出日落还有啥
idea？
