警察开车撞死一个日裔大学生，被法院判不负刑责。
这个案子，跟白人警察Nuri意外杀黑人一起，同为梁彼得案最好的案例。必须在今后的
司法程序里被引用。
这个案子跟梁彼得案子比起来就是说，证明黑人的无理取闹，和黑人种族主义。对亚裔
够狠。他们可以意外杀了亚裔不负刑责，却非要亚裔意外杀了黑人进监狱15年。
回头看来，中国人真老实憨厚，或者说傻不啦叽。梁彼得案有多少中国人都觉得对格里
过意不去，还有非要梁彼得进监狱的？

（1） 价格区别在于：所探测的波段多少和灵敏度，以及一些
格外功能，比如数字罗盘或者测速等等；
（2） local上因为受一些使用radar的设备比如自动门的影响，
误报比较多，但是很多detector也提供city 模式，可以稍微
减少误报。 不过话说回来，city里面你一般也不大超速，所以
我一般不在city用；
（3） 几十块的对那种所谓的laser gun可以探测不到，这种情况就是
那些埋伏在那里的cops喜欢用；
（4） 对于移动中抓超速的cops，他们一般都用普通的测速雷达，detector
就显得很有用了，你一般会提前1mile左右就得到警告；
（5） 万一被pull over了，在cops没有来之前，藏好detector；
（6） VA和DC用这个是非法的；
（7） 最重要的是：最好不要超速，超几mile节省不了太多时间！ |

发生在一条lan变成3条lane的时候，左边两lane是直行，右边一lane右转。我前面有车
保持在最左lane, 因为左边两lane是逐渐变宽的，我在变到中间直行lane时车轮越过了
左行lane的白虚线。
COP给的ticket是 Drive off roadway, main traveled portion/lane $51
我很纳闷，难道跨了一下白线又回来就要给ticket. COP说我improper pass. 其实我
并没想PASS.只是前车走最左lane,我转中间lane越过了左转的白虚线。这TMD也算错，
虚线不就是让大家换来换去的嘛。
一定要去dismiss. 感觉COP就是抢钱，告诉我第一次犯错，可以选probation.
Probation 要交全部罚款，另加$25处理费，六个月内再不犯错，charge取消，钱不退

pulling over is not a big problem, I got followed by police car when I drive
out state tag several times. as long as you do nothing wrong, cop even cannt
pull over you, cops just doing their job typing your tag and invest if you
are a potential crimer. you will not face more trouble at all.
the point is, how can cop know you are a visit or a new mover? they cannt.
And they cannt issue a ticket to you just by this.

车祸地点： 81st and Roosevelt Ave, Queens, New York
双方车辆型号： 偶的Lexus RX450H 2011, 对方的：Ford lincoln style的车（外形跟
纽约的yellow cab林肯车一样）
保险： 偶的是GEICO,全保，对方的不知道，有拍下他的车牌和registration 上的VIN

车祸经过：偶开在Roosevelt Ave（双行道，偶开的一个方向，另外一个反方向的lane
）上， 听到后面急救车的鸣叫声，
偶向右转，给急救车让行，急救车开过后，
偶方向盘左转，还打了方向灯，后面的林肯车突然迅速开过去，不知道他是跟在急救车后面，还是跟在偶后面，
急救车开过后，迅速开到左边反方向上超车，在回到右边正确的方向，他的右后车门碰到偶的左边车头。
偶的左前方被严重转坏(看图)，对方的车右边的后门划了一条长线。
这车道就一条，偶就是在主路上，车头靠右点啊，偶不开的话后面的车都走
不了，西班牙佬的车开到反方向上超车后，回到主路，所以右车身刮到偶的车头

发帖数: 594 | 29 这东西的原理就是一旦接受到雷达波的信号就告警，这里说的雷达波主要是Ka波段， K
波段， X波段，以及激光。一般来说49个州只有NJ的COP还在用X波段,而且现在城市里
的商店自动门和防盗系统大多用X波段,所以一般我们会关掉X波段的探测(X off).你可
以在8500的系统里选择这项（一般不会有问题）。另外选择city mode就自动关闭X波段
了。有些州还在用K波段，不多见，所以一般也是假告警。
但是Ka波段（现在全美大多数州的COP使用这个波段的雷达测速器）及几乎一定是真的
，特别是当你发现信号原来越强烈的时候，说明你和正在测速的cop越来越近了.所以南
加大该也以Ka居多，也不能排除激光。
而且警察要发射雷达波测你的速度，雷达波碰到你的车体，然后反射回雷达枪，然后锁
定你的车速，形成记录，然后才能抓你超速（不然没法律证据）。
无论任何情况，视野里出现警察，就严格按交规开车，这是王道。 |

的地方有些traffic，前面的车已经停在那里不动了。自己也停下来等候车流向前走。
突然嗙的一声我的车震了一下，只见我的车的前盖已经高高翘起。现在想想当时有些蒙
了，不知道发生了什么事。赶紧把车打到停车档，打开应急灯，打开车门。下车后发现
才后面是一辆civic撞了上来，一个女的司机还坐在车里不知所措。她后面是一辆大的
truck撞了她的车。 一起有5辆车连撞，truck的能量太大了。。。
还好没有人明显的受伤。打了911，让我们在那里等，说cop一会儿就来。估计是没有受
伤的缘故，大概过了快半个小时cop才来。挨个问了事情的经过，给我们一人一个小卡
片就处理好了。我们后面的三辆车都估计报废了，cop叫来了拖车公司都拖走了。
那天感觉没有什么不舒服，还去上班了。 可是昨天早上醒来后觉得脖子疼，不能往后
仰了，而且头觉的沉沉的。 今天好一些了，但还是同样的感觉。现在想是不是的星期
一去医生那里看看？ 还有那天跟保险公司说的时候说是没有受伤，这样是不是会影响

发帖数: 15155 | 31 RWD雨雪天更容易打滑是对的，而且这车也没那么多fancy的电子控制。虽然车子重，对
增加压强有帮助，但是一套好胎是有必要的，原配的Goodyear RS-A很垃圾，又贵，湿
地抓地又差，就是耐磨，很硬。也许正是因为硬，他们才敢杠杠的上雪链吧。
不是说非要上summer哈，像我现在用的Yokohama AVID Envigor就不错，四季胎也不贵
，只有在冬天路面有冰雪的时候，上坡有过小滑，没有出现过很严重的影响。另外警车
版的vic，后轴都是LSD，所以即使打滑，也不至于一侧空转动不了。
说到雪胎，那多贵？不是北方cop的我没见过谁上。一般中低纬度的，比如上次去
Atlanta碰到下大雪（南方城市没什么扫雪车，全城都结冰了，停工停课），cop都是直
接上雪链，那个真心给力啊。当时我们开的租来的FWD在冰上龟速，人家警察飕飕的跑
，还能刹车。。。虽说雪链伤胎，不过cop都是集中采购，多费几个不是事儿。但估计
买那些double甚至
弱点肯定有啊，除了费油，不吸能，里面不fashion，基本都有装设备留下的洞洞，车

当时是一个两条INTERSTATE切换的EXIT，下一个大坡，所以速度略快了一些。COP说北卡
法律规定必须出庭，不能只交罚款了事。（北卡的法律怎么这么变态）。我说我要从NY
开过来太远了，COP说可以找LOCAL的律师代为出庭。
请问我这种情况是否要请律师？
如果我自己开车去出庭的话，应该怎么处理？网上GOOGLE了一下，说NC有一种叫什么Pr
ayer for Judgment Continued (PJC)，就是三年内第一次犯交规可以免除责任，因为我
不大可能经常去NC，所以如果这个是最好的OPTION的话，我是否可以在法庭上要求这个
？
我这种超速24 MILES的情况，会被罚多少钱？因为NY是不认外州交通违章的，所以应该
不会扣点，罚款多少才是最重要的。 |

速慢，人没事。cops也说了对方全责，还有证人。
目前还没拿到cops的report。
车险是全保，保险公司说可以自己出$500 deductible,其余费用保险公司cover，我们
或许可以拿回deductible部分，不过没保证。
如果这样的话，是不是基本没希望拿回来了，特别是如果对方和自己是同一个保险公司
的话？

今天下午刚把存货清了，收到神医的雷波立刻屁颠屁颠去fedex drop off。刚从主路下
来进了停车场的ramp，一哥们在前面拿ticket，不知为何突然倒车撞上我的车，速度之
快我连反应时间都没有，然后他往前开，又要倒车，立刻按喇叭阻止了。
一看，还好，bumper 皮外伤，内部可能有几个挂扣掉了。准备要保险走人，丫居然没
保险，没啥说的打电话报警，cop来的倒算及时，说是private property，不能file
police report。给了张让自己填写的bmv单子就走了，我跟丫要dl，丫说不给，只给我
他roomate的电话，真jb搞笑。还说给我email行不行。说自己叔叔是法官老子不怕，一
炖bull shit。
没办法，打律师吧，律师都下班了，名片也没带。
继续骚扰911，又来一个cop，这回这个要file report，又把之前那个cop叫回来file
了report。
哎，有经验的童鞋说说该怎么办，这个police report到底有没有作用？
警察说损失不大不claim不涨保险，因为对方没保险而我是全险，这个到底对不对？

双方车辆型号： 偶的Lexus RX450H 2011, 对方的：Ford lincoln style的车（外形跟
纽约的yellow cab林肯车一样）
保险： 偶的是GEICO,全保，对方的不知道，有拍下他的车牌和registration 上的VIN

偶向右转，给急救车让行，急救车开过后，
偶方向盘左转，还打了方向灯，后面的林肯车突然迅速开过去，
不知道他是跟在急救车后面，还是跟在偶后面，
急救车开过后，迅速开到左边反方向上超车，在回到右边正确的方向，他的右后车门碰到偶的左边车头。
偶的左前方被严重转坏(看图)，对方的车右边的后门划了一条长线。

不过我个人感觉首先discover要一张，有时候他家和一些partner联合搞活动，还是很
爽的。。discover more 5%虽然要subscribe，但是三个月一次，也不算太过分，他们
选的category虽然不是对客户最有利，但是每个周期总有1-2个category是有用的。。
。当然老cop们肯定有别的经典stories。。。
c1是一家”据说“很烂的卡，因为他们公司就是针对信用记录不好的人，但是他们家对
初来美国的新手很nice，更为重要的是他们有强大的毅力，在他们的某部门在target到
你，并决定你看起来qualify的时候，会不厌其烦地每周给你发1-2封的invitation
letter。。。这个强大，在于每周至少1封，我的个人记录是持续了约50个礼拜，直到
我收到1张带1% cashback的letter并申请了以后，这才停止。。。foreign
transaction fee是免了的，1%cb虽然不多，但是可以直接提取。。。Again，老cop们
肯定也有别的经典stories
