flooding your basement.
it is almost impossible to repair a water heater if the tank is corroded.
you could slow down the corrosion by replacing an anode rod regularly, but
it sounds a bit too late. see my experience here:

Your photo mentioned found water inside the vent rim too. Pretty much it
tells the symptom that heater tank in some situation has high steam pressure
.
Very unlikely the cold water pipe corroded to leak unless the water is acid
water. If so, you could be already in big health problem. |
