发帖数: 2 | 1 我现在是child and family studies 的master，大概今年暑假毕业。我对counseling
很感兴趣，去年暑假申请了counseling psychology 的PhD，到现在为止只收到了UI
Bloomington 的AD，而且是master。其实我本来申请的是PhD，是因为PhD把我据了，所
以踩录取到了master里。今天刚刚收到了他们的录取信，系里的信上说明了系里不能提
供奖学金。现在我觉得有些矛盾，如果我留在本校读本专业的PhD的话，就会有奖学金
。而如果到UI读，还要再读两三年才拿一个master，而且现在没有奖学金，也不知道第
二年会不会拿到奖学金。想问问大牛一般在counseling 读master的话，如果一开始没
有奖学金，第二年拿assistantship的可能性有多大。
另外还有一个问题，我在网上看了counseling的就业前景，有人说很好，有人说不好，
有人说工资高，有人说工资低，本人有点迷惑。其实工资的高低对我来说不是很重要，
关键是想知道中国人作为外籍人给美国人做counseling的有效性有多大呢？各位大牛中

美国总统度假胜地大卫营所在的马里兰州弗雷德里克郡（Frederick County）有保守派
份子向法院提起诉讼，要求清查非美国公民注册投票的状况，结果查出有12.8%的非美
国公民真的注册成为选民并投下选票，美国总统川普称有多达300万非美国公民投下选
票的指控恐怕并非空穴来风。
法院员工检俦~民清单和因外国人身分丧失陪审团义务人的清单，并比对2007年、2008
年和2011年的投票纪录，发现名单上的1400名非美国公民中有约180人注册为选民，其
中有63人更在多次选举中成尼諵U选票。
发起此诉讼的保守派律师格雷（Daniel M. Gray）说∶「显然有不该投票的人投了票，
问题是这种现象有多广泛，有多少没有投票资格的非美国公民投票了？」
根据一份符合原始调查数据的人口普查数据，全美有多达200百万的非美国公民可以注

1. 学校diversity
这个很重要，害怕孩子被人欺负。在我们这里没黑人和老墨。大概中国，印度和各种白
人各1/3。我问了费城郊区好学区的学校，大概是90%白人，10%所有亚洲人。也基本没有
黑人和老墨。在这样的学校里面，亚洲孩子能很好的发展么？
2. 学校
学校本身是费城那里好。但是PA的公里大学比加州差很多。uc berkeley, ucla, ucsd都
比penn state好吧？penn state估计和uc davis类似。如果要上公里大学，还是加州好
。私立在哪里都一样。
3. 天气
这个是湾区完胜。我在洛杉矶和湾区都住过很多年。湾区天气和west la，orange coun
ty类似。
4. Traffic
这个是费城那里完胜。湾区已经赶上以前的洛杉矶了。去哪里都是堵车。快被堵疯了。
5.房子
你已经说明白了。
但是最重要的是生活上，比如有没有好的中文学校，好的中国人钢琴老师，画画老师这
种。简而言之就是有没有比较发达的中国人社区，去了以后不会任何时候都感觉很陌生。 |
