granite。想请教一下，如果从builder这里upgrade，是不是房子总价就会提高，之后
每年的property tax也会随之增加？如果我等到房子的warranty过期之后自己换，需要
多长时间能换好countertop？厕所的countertop和厨房的countertop更换的难度一样吧？

发帖数: 22 | 3 定countertop的时候也不懂，就只是觉得不带边的比较好看，所以就定了个不带边的
3cm的quartz
今天装修师傅说，不带边的countertop下面不能加plywood的板子，所以是cabinet边上
加胶水，然后直接上quartz，这样的坏处是可能以后剁东西力气大了容易裂，而且如果
台面万一裂了的话整个必须都换。他还说在这边装修这么多年了，没见过不加plywood
的……
如果要换带边的countertop的话，要换成2cm的，又要等两周多。。。。
想问一下有没有countertop下面是不加plywood板子的？会容易裂么？

了， 一着急把它放水槽边的countertop上。 结果给烧了个大锅印，边缘有些地方上面
那层皮都烧穿了， 看来只能换了。想问一下各位，这种countertop是不是只需要换上
面那层薄薄的皮就行了，下面的木头不用换吧。 象这种请人labor加材料大概需要多少

装修公司看过后，说，corian countertop基本上都是接近3.5 cm的厚度，而新的只有
3cm. 装了以后，在新的countertop和旧的backspalsh之间，会有1/4 quarter的gap。
现在的backspalsh很好，不打算拆掉。一般的caulking填那么大的距离会很丑。
大家碰到过这种问题吗？这个gap是用什么填上的？

我一直就希望有个花岗岩的countertop，可惜现在还在
租房，最近搬的房子有贴纸的跟花岗岩一样的countertop,
档次立马就升了一级，以前租房都是一般的贴纸，白白的
很难看，还是花岗岩的好看
话说我不喜欢花里胡哨的东西，可是花岗岩的确很有质感，
是好东西，不是那种只有表面没内在的东西，放
热的锅什么的也方便实用，清洁也比较容易，不会卷角
另外作为内行人，可以告诉你，在所有岩石里，花岗岩算
是最好的做countertop的岩石了，有人用页岩做，但是
那个看起来比较脏，也没花岗岩坚固，
最高贵大气又实用的非花岗岩莫属 |

countertop的时候不想要靠边的那一溜窄的backslash, 怕不好看。 如果只作台面不起
那个窄的挡板，靠墙那里会有什么问题，漏水什么的么？ 贴backslash的时候和那里
的接缝就是grout一下就好了把？

townhouse)，准备1-2年后卖。 去了homedepot股了个价，买granite的话， 大约要$
2500, laminate的话约$1500, 包安装费。请问值得买granite吗， 以后卖的话能不能
把成本搞回来？还有那儿买比homedepot 更便宜？ |

It's not much different than other stones. Just need to seal it regularly,
at least once per year. It's a much softer stone so you can not do cutting
directly on the countertop. If you want to fill the small holes, you can use grout or ceramic tile caulk.
You have a very nice countertop. It must have costed a lot to put it in .
So enjoy.

下，是以前SEAL之后用含酸清洁剂造成的.有的说acetone could remove the sports

我今天和一个装修师傅询问价格时,他说如果能做到接缝0.8mm就是手艺很好了.
(他原话是尺子英寸那面最小刻度的一半)

地毯要换。看了HD的，另找了本地唯一一个做这个的中国人报价了。这个人包工包料，
他的料都是close out的产品，所以他能做很低的材料价，labor倒也不便宜，总价还是
便宜的。
不知道该用拿个。大牛们给说说呗！
Countertop 65 sq ft 我要level 1 granite就行。中国contractor这个level 25/sq
ft including labor
Carpet 468 sq ft. 3 bedrooms, HD 看上2.7-2.9/ sq ft 的短毛pattern地毯。中
国contractor没有match上的。差不多的他要3.3/sq ft including labor。
Tile 506 sq ft 中国contractor推荐的应该是porcelain tile看上去象stone 那种
。上面还有texture那种。他说类似的hd要卖3块多，他是进的close out的货，他给我

把sink盆固定在countertop底下，不是粘的。
自己可以DIY的。
中国的granite都seal过的。如果要seal，不需要把sink卸了重装。

刚来Utah没多久，第一次买房，所以对这些装修的事情不太了解
这附近哪些店的flooring比较好，哪些店的countertop比较好？
costco，homedepot，lowes？或者local的一些小店也ok，只要对方可靠，性价比高就
ok。
还请版上的前辈们给点意见。

我知道花冈石的贵，而且是簇新的拆掉很浪费。
屋子的价值因为没有granite countertop 下降什么的我不管了，
多花钱去装别的材料我也不管了。
要我天天对着这么难看的花斑实在受不了。
看着就像一 大块墓碑！
这里有没有人拆过这玩意儿？
拆掉会不会损坏cabinet？cabinet 很漂亮想保留。

看到好多裂纹，而且有许多小坑，好像是粘的小石头粒碎了，然后掉了下来。
