较难，曲线申请比较容易。
根据主楼引述的文章报道，WBS 的入学标准是 SAT 1500。底下是加州大学的转学标准
，里面没有要求 SAT 或 ACT，GPA 也只要 2.4（外州的 2.8）。所以您的“尼玛”二
字，您自己留着用吧。

在读PHD，已读一年多（还差很多coursework），现在在用CPT实习。有美国另外一个学
校的master学位。因为一些原因现在想在这家公司full time，同时quit PHD。学校
graduate school说我这种情况不能申请OPT，因为还有coursework没完成，所以不能申
pre-completion OPT。我也不可能继续用CPT，因为申请CPT要老板签字，他不会同意延
长实习。而且如果使用一年的CPT，那么OPT的eligibility也被forfeit了。
请问我这种情况有什么出路吗？

有在section K里面指明，具体如下，基本上是律师准备材料的失误，但是还是想去
argue一下，毕竟重新做的话，又要多等一年。
denial letter 里面提到的技能是一个还挺通用的绘图软件，我本科的成绩单里有这门
课可以证明我有这项技能，但是成绩单并没有提交过，而且申请是用的master的学位，
section K的工作描述里的一些内容也可以去说用的这个软件，不知道会不会可以争一
下。
大家有没有因为这个被拒的，之后做reconsideration 有成功的吗？或者有没有推荐做
perm比较有经验的律师，谢谢啦！

Offer 1: University of Waterloo的Economics Department里的Financial
Econometrics和Mathematical Finance（导师在这个领域）。这学校的经济系在学术界
没有reputation, 所以毕业生只可能在业界或政府部门工作。但是mathematical
finance（Master学生和统计、CS及数学PhD在Finance研究方向的学生在业界较受欢迎
。此Program 需要平均五年完成，四年的coursework和Research, 然后是一年政府或业
界实习。
Offer 2: University of Alberta 的Business School里的Finance。这个学校的商学
院MBA不出名，但是其Research 还是不错，毕业生多在商学院教书。此Program需要平

没有名单。一般来说，越是好的学校越容易通融，私校似乎更容易通融。你在不错的学
校拿的Ph.D,在很好的学校做博士后，如果你能同时把MCAT考的尽量高一些，应该会有
好学校会通融的。最好是能和学校联系一下，问一下具体的要求。
如果MCAT考的不理想，同时又没有美加本科的学分，申请时会比较被动。

我觉得你说得Highlights就是我上面得Summary,这部分我觉得应该主要突出你得专业背

. Skills我觉得应该放前面,因为公司应该是比较注重你得专业技能得.Related
