4个以上。然后local min就超级多，太依赖初始值点了，而且跑的又慢。老板说，试试
cplex。哎～下了一个cplex，用都不会用，只会照着sample写最简单的线性规划。
是否可以在matlab里面跑cplex呐，这样我就可以保留matlab写好的code，只要在优化
的语句那里改一下，规定用cplex去跑。 |

me weired results. It first fixes the binary variables to minimize the
objective function, then solve the rest problem as a LP problem.
This gives me infeasible solutions. for example, a constraint like:

variables, M is just a parameter.

我的目标函数是 max(x1+x2+x3+...x10)
constraints是以x1,...x10为变量的
现在我想让x1....x10以整数的方式取值，比如0，1，3，4等
我的问题是不知道怎么搞的，优化下来结果是x1,...x10成了一个个的
double数，like 0.5, 1.5, 0.0, 2.5 ....
有谁知道怎么样在CPlex里强制x1...x10为整数变量吗?

讲解了一下目前的美国经济形势。
我老灵感大发，决定用operation research的角度讲解一下中国足球，给中国足球解解
盘。这个帖子可能只有学数学和统计优化的能看懂，如果讲解不对zaoqi,drake等内行
也不要嘲笑。
如果说中国足球是一mix integer program的话,我们现在最需要的是an exact
solution to the MIP. 我们山东人前些年就是在用pure enumeration的方式来解，但
是南方人特别是江浙沪一带的却一直在用heuristic来解问题。南方的问题是，从来不
会100%的努力，而总是想些捷径。在场上就知道用脑子来想最优的办法，而不是努力，
努力再努力。就像我说的，南方人上场踢球都带着CPLEX。 就像很多用cplex的人一样
，总是忽略了cplex虽然牛，但是却有很多limitation, 有warm up找到first feasible

基本过去是做revenue management或者搞优化，要会CPLEX， CPLEX有C/C++/Java的api
，可以去看看。但是首先C/C++/Java要搞熟一个。还有一些做OR方面software的，比如
pros/sas/mathworks
学校在街上有名气或者自己有connection的话，上街。街上做quant，统计的都可以试试
版上热门公司，f/l/t的data scientist，a的OR scientist，m好像没有。这些公司面
试就是算法/coding, 因为面试你的人就是搞这些的。化些时间搞算法吧。你整天搞
inventory model，要知道里面常用的DP， Graph在算法中已经算比较难的了，不过思
考的角度要换一下。找些面试题目看看就明白我的意思了。 |

我问问你为什么pure enumeration就是100%的努力，山东人做得到吗？如果穷举有意志
力有革命精神就能做的话人家还设计什么heuristic，你是在故意侮辱山东人吗？
我来给你指出一下改进的方向，这个问题根本不能RELAX成LP，LP解根本没有意义。你
连upper bound都没有，既不知道自己enumeration能enumeration个啥来，又根本不知
道人家heuristic solution的gap，你比来比去在比毛啊。
我严重怀疑你用过CPLEX么，如果没有的话，去上一些MS PROGRAM的课，做两个PROJECT

不过有些solver的确是用matlab写的，比如一些SDP solver
LP,MIP,这种一般用CPLEX,Gurobi

记得以前有人总结 科班CS去科班计算机 公司（or ３C 公司）
非CS科班的进大公司的IT department。
为什么呢，就是个基础与应用的问题。。。
别的专业也要大量的用到编程 比如机械做有限元的
IE用cplex的 统计用SAS的，这些方便CS非但没有优势
还处于劣势。要是非CS科班的敢于投CS的简历，所谓的
算法 OS等基础知识人一定都掌握，学２，３门课就去找CS
的工作的时代结束了 |

然后手动 产生一个模型框架文件
program2 : 根据上面数据文件, 模型框架文件, 产生一些模型文件
然后手动通过调用 CPLEX (a linear programming solver package)
解这些模型, 然后用 SAS 分析模型的解
请问, 我该用 perl, python or shell script 来进行上述 operations ?

现在有两个工作选择不知道应该怎么办
来听听大家意见
1、不在硅谷的小branch，international公司总部在新加坡。曾经在那里实习，
manager就给了offer。software engineer。
好处：1）自由灵活综合性强，接触面广。
2）小branch所以什么都能做，感觉也许作为第一份工作可以学到很多东西。本
人ECE专业，但是主要experience都是CS。。所以觉得在这里还有机会接触到fpga那边
。而且主要搞产品开发。intern的时候做的东西就是他们提出需求，我提供算法去实现
新的功能。不仅仅是编程，也需要很多背景知识。我不喜欢纯编程。
3）manager人很好。。感觉刚开始工作什么都不懂会成为很好的人生导师。。
坏处：1）不在硅谷，在santa rosa，同学少。。一个人感觉很无聊- -。。
2）没有名气，我将来的计划是回国，不知道是能力重要还是工作牌子重要。。

找，你光有理论不行，得会编程，会用一些软件，尤其是cplex, MATLAB等。
你可以去一些航空公司试试，他们full time的pay得很低，但是intern就无所谓钱了。
DC那里也有些consulting company，专门做政府部门的优化项目的。 |
