梭罗在《野果》一书中说：“采浆果这活儿本身的意义远大于吃浆果。”他还说，长浆
果的地方本身就是一所大学；城市化使许多人失去了享受大自然的权利；土地私有化以
及劳动分工剥夺了人们亲手采集无数野果的权利。
我女儿从读小学时起，学校在秋季就组织他们到果园采摘，这是一项很好的体验自然的
教育活动。在采摘中，孩子们上窜下跳、喜形于色，由此你也许会猜测到，野外采野果
更是妙不可言。我读小学时候，学校春季组织采蕨菜为国家换钢铁，那时候中国缺钢材
。秋季则组织“小秋收”活动，教师带领学生上山采集各种野果；收获的野果在农村的
供销社卖掉，老师把钱换成常用的文具分给学生。回想起来，多么美好，我女儿这一代
以及再下一代已经无法享受到这样的教育了。就算孩子们有时间上山，老师和学校也担
不起责任。
野果是大自然的产物，是上帝赋予人类以及其他动物的礼物。禁止或放弃采集野果，就
相当于剥夺了或忽略了上帝赐予我们的礼物。
我的老家在东北长白山，野果伴随着我长大，我认识并持续品尝了家乡几乎每一种野果

Aestivales[1] that are common in wetlands throughout the southern United
States. The principal species are C. aestivalis, the eastern Mayhaw, and C.
