项目很多，有意思的地方也很多，没有过于商业化的感觉，觉得可以给10分；Oahu就非
常商业化，各处景点也没有觉得特别，大概也就7分的样子。
1. 大岛Cook Monument的Kayaingk和Snorkeling，非常推荐。需要从Lower Napoopoo
Rd和Puuhonua Rd（也就是State Hwy 160转角处）交界的一个停车场的Kayak Loading
Area划船过去。可以租船。我们自己带了充气的Kayak和浮潜工具。另外在Captain
Cook Monument登陆要申请一个Permit:

Kayak过去单程大概40分钟，有时能看到Spinner Dolphin.我们连着去了两天，第二天
kayak的时候有三只海豚在离我们三米的地方绕着我们的船打转。Cook Monument那里可

发帖数: 10502 | 2 2. Kalapana 130尽头有一个瞭望平台，有人在那里组织熔岩步行游，100块钱，下午三
四点钟出发，来回5个小时左右。
不怕死的可以穿过热带雨林去看Puu Oo火山口，蓝皮书(Hawaii the Big Island
Revealed)里面有详细说明。
3.有小孩的要谨慎。从海边开到山顶上升4200米，会有高原反应。普通的车上去问题不
大，下来刹车可能会过热。
4.4WD高底盘是必须的。开了一辆AWD的Crossover SUV的车下去上来了，把老婆吓得半
死，给臭骂一顿。
5.那里有个海温泉，也是必须4WD才能去，当然走路也行了。一英里多。
2. Volcano State Park Hiking. 本来Halema’uma’u和Chains of Crater Rd的尽头
都是Hiking的好地方，但是现在由于火山Active，都被关闭了。所以我们就只在
Kilauea Iki Trail Hiking了一下，这个可以从Crater边缘的热带雨林Hike到平坦的死
火山口，大概4 Mile，两个小时左右。另外Chains of Crater Rd尽头可以在凝固的岩

akaka fall hike几十分钟, hilo 早点吃晚饭, mauna kea看日落和星星，back
求hilo好餐馆推荐？mauna kea是不是不用报什么tour 自己看就行？先去visit center
再往上开到天文台？
day2
酒店晃晃，往南开，kona coffee farm, cook船长，kealakekua bay 这几个地方都在
一起 随便晃晃， refuge park 参观，black beach，back
比较随意，请问中间在哪吃晚饭，或者还有啥景点活动可以看看？
day3
火山之旅，先买点吃的，开到火山公园，crater rim，和chain of crater rd，看了介
绍 开车一般就这两条路，玩耍4，5小时差不多了吧？看lava入海是不是在chain of

第一晚在冰川西门camping
第二日从going to the sun road到st mary capmground
第三到第七都在st mary住，去many glacier,two medicine等。可能回去waterton,会
走high line和many glacier的一个trail
第八日出发去黄石，在helena附近state park camping
第九日到黄石，在canyon camping
现在的计划是第十到十四都住canyon
第十五出发去grand teton,住三晚。会走cascade canyon trail
第十八去crater of the moon,住两晚。

路上一晚
黄石6晚

Nevada某地歇一晚
另外一个选择是不去crater of the moon,从teton回加州湾区去的时候，在twin falls
住一晚。这样就可以省下一天，在黄石可以多一天。这样就变成

喷出这么大一块地方。大岛上的夏威夷火山国家公园有著名的基拉韦厄火山（Kilauea
），是大部分游客必到之处。
哈雷玛乌玛乌火山口（Halema'uma'u Crater），像口巨大的蒸锅。火山气体富含二氧
化硫，蒸出馒头肯定又大又白。
蒸汽出口区（Steam Vent）。地面有许多裂缝，热汽扑面。
硫磺矿（Sulfur Bank）。想起高中化学课里的一个经典反应，二氧化硫气体和硫化氢
气体反应，生成单质硫。
没有蒸汽的地方生长着茂密的植被。
熔岩隧道（Lava Tube）入口。
液态熔岩的表层首先凝固，下面的熔岩流走后，就形成了这样的隧道。
基拉韦厄伊基火山口（Kilauea Iki Crater）。这里有小路可以走下去，略有难度。
熔岩坑。大岛是成长中的火山岛，有许多大片新鲜熔岩覆盖的区域。
火山破坏区（Devastation Trail），一片荒凉。
沿火山口链公路（Chain of Craters Road）开二十多英里，尽头处是这个经典的象鼻

耀斑以及一次日冕物质喷发。
美国国家气象局空间天气预报中心项目协调人比尔·穆塔夫表示：“这一次的大
爆发非常具有戏剧性。”他指出中型太阳耀斑在6日美国东部时间凌晨1 点41分(格林
威治标准时间的凌晨5点41分)达到峰值。“我们最初观测到的耀斑规模并不大，在随

少多了。因为正面有过火山运动，把坑都填了。可是背面没有。所以有理论说，背面的
构成不同于正面，或者背面的壳子比正面厚，所以没有火山运动。
总之，背面从来没有被近距离study过。这次着陆除了显示技术以外，还是很有意义的

环形线路一：从加拿大落基山脉国家公园群到墨西哥的巴扎加利福尼亚。环西线走太平
洋；环东线走蒙大拿、犹他、拉斯维加斯、洛杉矶。适合RV旅行，3周或以上为好。
东线个人pick：大城市就不说了。(墨西哥部分个人还没有去过）
1、1号公路上的Kirk Creek Campground。一定要早定。一生一次。
2、圣地亚哥附近的South Carlsbad State Beach Campground
3、波特兰附近的Astoria：Lewis and Clark National Historic Park
4、加拿大的哥伦比亚冰盖下的停车场（过夜）。这个冰盖是北美分水盖，流向太平洋
、北冰洋、大西洋和墨西哥湾。
其余的跟着国家公园走就大致不错：耶和华树、红木国家州公园群、Crater Lake（及
附近的雪山/火山群）、美国的冰川（大RV进不去）、黄石、恐龙
然后有两种选择：科罗拉多河左岸还是右岸。

景色，Sedona很有艺术气息，可以在小镇上逛逛，吃午饭。
然后，沿着89A开过Oak Creak Canyon, 一路上风景不错，记得走过弯弯曲曲上山顶时
有个Mountain Vista，可以看整个山谷。
晚上可以在Flagstaff找旅馆住，很便宜。在Flagstaff，可以沿着89北去Sunset
Volcano Crater 看看火山遗迹（很新），但不能登顶到火山口。
40往东，有个巨大的陨石坑，Meteor Crater，票价15刀（印象中），值不值得看，看
个人的兴趣和budget，再往东有个化石国家公园，Petrified Forest National Park,
值得看。
这又是一天，可以再住Flastaff
第三天开车去大峡谷，一天。
第四天可以去Page，那边的景色很特殊，怎么玩，我还没去过。贴2张照片勾引一下：

多个，最有名的是Oregon的Crater Lake国家公园，我是看了那里的照片才下决心来美

lands on Wizard Island, allowing passengers to debark and hike the trial to
the summit. The Phantom Ship, the lake's other island, is off-limits to
visitors, but the tour boats offer a close-up inspection on the way back to
the dock.
Tidbit: Wizard Island was named by William Steel in the 1880s because its
shape reminded him of a magician's hat.

Crater Lake的大锅caldera是7000年前（约4860 BC）Mt. Mazama喷过以后剩下的。
Wizard Island是几百年后长出来的一个小火山，倒是经常有些地震或者别的什么小动
作，参见照片中树木的粗细程度。
Crater Lake的特点除了全美最深以外，其水质之清澈更是无与伦比，主要是由于没有
什么污染源。除了可以在Rim上看风景以外，其实最好的游玩方式是下到湖边钓鱼或者
游泳。 |

7/3从三番出发，共6天时间， 犹豫不决是该one way car rental, fly back还是双程
开车， 主要想去以下地方
crater lake (定了2nights camping， hiking + 坐船)
Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway
Columbia River Gorge + Mt Hood Scenic Loop(计划1天）
难以决定的是从crater lake到Columbia River Gorge 是走coast还是走内陆Bend一线
。如果coast, 可能走走停停路上需要更多时间， 这样飞回来比较好。如果走bend 一
线， 一天能到gorge, 回程开车也没问题。
到底哪个路线好呢？ Oregon coast 和加州coast 风景差异大吗？ 和Olympia 那边的
海岸比呢？

Falls etc
crater lake -> bend
bend 可以去newberry valcano NM (lava butte, paulina falls, big obsidianflow)
-> cascade lake high way 最漂亮的湖是devil's lake 和sparks lake.可以看到mt
bachelors, brokwn tops, 3 sisters etc
from sisters 走McKenzie pass 转一圈可以去看mt washington, mt jefferson, proxy falls, head of metolius, metolius river, wizard falls fish hatchery.
还可以走sisters 里的trail去看山上的湖.
向北可以去smith rock |

以后有机会夏天的时候去吧。
Eugene吃还是有的吃的，不过你们从西雅图来就别吃中餐了。玩嘛，好像没有什么好玩
的。
西雅图23日早上出发，计划第二天下午或晚餐左右到达三番。因为一个人开车，有老人
小孩，所以想在途中停一晚。有没有什么推荐的地方？Eugene好像距离上是中间，不知
道那里晚上有什么好玩的，好吃的？
去Crater Lake来的及么？好像从Eugene到哪里要3个小时阿。现在还能直接开车到湖边
可以看风景的地方么？

发帖数: 4923 | 48 打算感恩节带爸妈从北加开车到portland玩，不想玩的太累，行程也同版上大同小异，
见地图。
想上来问问大家：
1.考古了一下版上的旅游贴，基本上都是夏天游玩的。貌似crater lake封山？？？那
是不是从crater lake 到 mt hood到hood river 一线都是大雪封山，道路很难走？
2.outlet 之后的行程有两个方案，一个是走101沿海岸线南下，一个是从Salem,Eugene
往南。 我们从北加来，101公路边的的一些景点比如cannon beach,New Port,Florence
这些与北加17里路附近的海岸线风景比怎样呢？ 如果差不多，那Salem,Eugene 这两个
地方是不是对我们来说更值得去？

发帖数: 3426 | 49 crater lake南边的路冬天没有问题，我前驱车4年前snow storm都上去了，下山的时候
雪链跑丢了，也下来了。crater lake大雪的时候看，别有味道，我还在一人多高的雪
里snow shoe了几个小时，挺好玩的。不过建议参加tour，雪太大，你看不到下面是不
是悬崖。 |
