发帖数: 2590 | 1 有朋友提到买旧房时注意的问题。因为更换外墙是修理房子最贵的一项内容，所以大部
分屋主只是做了一些很简单的处理，甚至是掩盖就卖房了。有不少有质量问题，所以一
定要让inspector仔细检查外墙。
说到质量问题，就不得不提到70到90年代的最流行外墙材料——Masonite, 这种材料听
起来名字好象是挺坚硬的，不过如果大家还记得80年代中国国内做家具用的一种材料，
叫做纤维板。Masonite其实就是同样类型的东西。
我和一个inspector关系很好，他在70-90年代是造房子的contractor。他告诉我，
Masonite那个时候是以新型高科技材料来推广自己的。因为安装容易，款式多样，又很
轻便，所以很多北方房子都用了这个材料做外墙。结果大量的房子在15-20年之后就出
现了严重的外墙质量问题，主要表现在渗水，发泡，长霉，垮塌(crumble down)等等。
如果在google搜索一下Masonite Class Action，你就可以看到这家公司在90年代一个
几千万美元的大赔偿。
更换的时候就发现，不但材料有问题，还有80年代那些不合格的安装人员完全不懂

把liner换掉还有很多其他的问题，比如侧面的cement wall接近地面的地方会有很多
crumbling，一旦liner去掉，这些碎掉的水泥块会脱落，你需要重新抹水泥，否则嵌在
墙里面用来固定liner的extrusion会松掉。cement wall上沾的foam padding也会掉下
来，liner下面的地面也需要重新做。
如果前面的问题都解决了，而且有量身定制好的新liner，安装的确很容易，我估计我
现在自己安没有什么问题，无非需要用一个shop vac先把底下的气抽掉，然后把
wrinkle去掉，后面就是加水了。新liner很软，很容易stretch，跟老liner完全不一样。
liner本身便宜吗？你是从网上order吗？我问过的contractor大多都是从两家定制：
Vynall和Premier，但这两家都没有我现在的pattern，而且好象没有直接order的选项
，我也没有问过liner本身需要多少钱。 |

我担忧的是怎么以后能够让娃生活自理，自立而不拖累这个社会，怎么学会和人交流（
说话都是其次的），奢侈点的想法是，怎么主流化，怎么能够自己有一个somewhat
meaningful的生活，父母离开人世的时候，也能让孩子可以有尊严的活着。我们这样家
庭的种种challenge，不是常人能够理解的，我也从没有奢望过普通父母能体会我们的
痛苦。。。但是看到了最近的热贴，有些id对我们这些可怜的家庭们的各种不太善意的

伦敦有两家Nobu, 一家在花园街(Park Lane)， 大都会酒店内(Metropolitan Hotel
London)（相关博文： http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_a3b3394c01014ap3.html?tj=1 ）。 另一家在梅费尔(Mayfair)，室内装修是著名的设计师David Collins的大作，非常的现代，非常的艺术，对灯光的运用有独到之处。这是一进门通向一楼酒吧的走廊。
二楼的餐厅。餐厅里的桌椅是唯一与花园街的Nobu相似的地方。 墙壁上翠竹的图案，
突出东方韵味。
由于赶时间看音乐剧《悲惨世界》， 今天吃的只能算快餐，炸虾仁，虾仁鲜嫩，火候掌
握得不错。
