I was lucky last season. It happened on the last run of my last day of the
season (4pm on April 6, 2008) at Kirkwood where I just renewed my season
pass for 08/09 season. I followed my boys to terrain park where I went so
many times before, hurt my knee and was on crutches for a week. What a way
to conclude a season!

partial tear, actually the swelling you have now is what keeps you knee from
twisting and tearing the ligament completely, and pain-killers might not be
such a good idea, because it numbs your ability to feel pains, and thus
your bio-alarming mechanism, and increase your danger of further injury.
So the most important thing now is to keep your knee from any further injury
. The crutches and the bandage help but not very muc |

in the second day, I was able to get out of the bed and walk around.
but the pain from drilling the bone is so much that i preferred to stay on
the bed
5 days later,the pain was gone and I felt comfortable to walk around w/
crutches. |

发帖数: 146 | 7 40 is still very young indeed! I started playing tennis when I was 41. There
should be no problem if you warm yourself up well each time. Otherwise, the
worst thing could happen - tennis leg! I just got it today, the second time
in my life. I'm on crutches again and won't be able to play any more for at
least one month or 2.

真题回顾：
1.考试基本靠RP，我是个运气特差的人，结果今天RP爆发了。
我祈祷了一天，高考都没这么紧张，我幸运数字是2，于是选的12号，结果发现只有12号有中午12点
的考试，其他日子都是早上8点，然后我去考试要选柜子，基本都满，只有12号空着，心里乐滋滋
的，然后进了考场，又被安排2号机，心想GOD真要帮我么，结果75题之后，继续做，心理紧张的，
每一道都像踩在刀刃上，做了几道后突然黑屏，让我休息，吓死我了，差点室颤，然后我没休息，继
续，又过了一会又闪我去休息，我没去，继续
就这样，我做到209道的时候，时间过了，我想我肯定过不了了，坐地铁时都想跳下去，不过决定还
是回来查查成绩才能瞑目，一查，嘿嘿，姐姐我过啦，啦啦啦啦
2.啰嗦到这里
下面说真题
做了3个呼吸音的，好几个多选，其实我见到多选还高兴，说明前面做对了才出难的，所以遇见多选
越多越好。但是多选很难，我估计我没做对几个多选，每次多选后就好几个单选，
有2个看图说话题，是一个图，就是一个人腰上有个红色的像四周蔓延的东西，不知道怎么形容，超

享分享。
考试准备：
9/17注册了考试，原以为一年以内考都可以，结果发现三个月以内必须考，没办法，就
选了最后的那一天，12/16,但是老二刚刚17天，还在月子里，Saunders的书以前断断续
续翻了1/10的样子，本想加油把书看完，看了几天发现根本行不通，很多单词不认识，
看得超慢，晚上老大从daycare回来我就根本不能摸书，只有等她睡了才能看一小会，
可是我也撑不住，只想睡觉，老公说这样根本不行，肯定过不了，他说你就只做题目好
了，因此，改变战略，只做题，把Saunders书上的练习题全做了，光盘里的也做了不少
，我不知道具体做了多上，反正没做完，版上MM分享的Qbank七套题也做了，然后就上
考场了。
考试内容回忆：
diabetes insipidus 的临床表现考了三题
呼吸音的听力题
计算题4、5个，都是关于1mg=1000mcg， 1kg=2.2lb的转换，很简单
crutch的4-point gait使用方法
嗜络细胞瘤的临床表现
priority的题很多

What penguin can ride now are only two crutches. As slow as a snail and as
clumsy as a penguin. Good practice for flexibility, balance, arms and core

5月初的一个周六，在参加例行的本地中老年华人华侨WSN pick up活动期间不慎把左
膝伤了。当时起跳争抢一个半高球loose ball，被对方一名猛男凌空放倒。只听到一声
POP巨响，然后就一阵剧痛，无法站立。在场边歇了半小时后挣扎着自己开车回家。到
家后因为怕挨LD的骂，没敢提出去ER的非份要求，偷偷摸摸自己弄俩冰块敷上了事。事
实证明这是个严重的错误，当天晚上膝盖肿得跟西瓜似的连裤子都穿不进，无法翻身，
一碰就疼，于是一夜无人入眠。。。第二天大清早硬着头皮把领导揪起来陪我去CVS买
了副拐杖，总算能将就着站起来了。
又熬了一天总算到了周一，在保险公司网站上找了几个in network的orthopedists，也
没预约就杀过去了。运气不错，第一个医生Adam就在没有预约的情况下热情的接待了我
（看来他生意真不怎么样）。 拍了X ray，发现骨头没断。Adam掏出个跟我手臂差不多
粗的针管，从膝盖外侧插进去，抽出了两大针管血，膝盖迅速的消肿。初步诊断是ACL

the next couple of years in regards to over-the-counter medication (
including aspirin, cough drops, coughing medicine, rubbing alcohol, nasal
sprays, etc).
Today, Dec 31, is the last day to use HSA on over-the-counter medications.
After today, you have to have a prescription to use any HSA on these
medications (though you can still use it on bandages, crutches, etc.
