我第一次有幸见到其凤是在马省大学，那时候其凤还很年轻，意气风发，恰同学少年，
风华正茂。还记得他在麻省大学新年会的一首诗，现在还依稀有印象，
心为高洁胜寒冰，骨有傲资越三冬；
惯于溯风争娇艳，最恋雪融见晴空；
情到浓时恨意生，爱到深处怨难尽；
几经风霜总未弃，却是无情残春风。
这首诗咏梅言志，当时大家都甚为佩服他的才华。都在一个实验室里做液晶的研究，我
的研究偏测试，他偏材料合成。一起跟老板涮过试管，还一起熬夜做实验做到凌晨3点
。他个子不高，为人却幽默，直率，很受同学们的欢迎。每逢春节，海外华人倍思祖国
，总会听他来高歌一曲，那时还是青松岭红梅赞之类的传统歌曲，现在很少听到这些让
人怀念的老歌了。
毕业时，其凤决定回国报效祖国，给我讲不习惯国外资本主义生活。我那时还比较迷恋

12月24日 星期三 雪
4辆车，14个人，于四个不同的时间到达CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN LODGE。最牛的一个朋友是
开着他的前轮驱动的小车，没有雪链的，冒雪独自前来。从西雅图去雪场的路，一开始
真是比西雅图的路好很多。路面很干净。进山以后，就象进了白色的童话世界。要上
LODGE的大坡，还是需要四轮驱动。
关老大说他买东西很保守，可光是他从COSTCO买的零食和早餐往地上一放，人就没地方
站了。还没加我们车从南大华买的火锅原料和各位的行李。于是，赶紧又跑去多订一间
房。最后6个女生一间房，8个男生一间。
那个LODGE每个房间的装修都不同，因为其实是私人度假屋。大家把食物都搬到女生屋
里，因为这个屋又新又漂亮，有大桌子。晚餐开了三个火锅，食物丰富得大家担心吃不
完。
晚上8点，我们几个人跑去附近的CHAPEL，CANDLE SERVICE. 最后的环节是关了灯，人
们依次把手上的蜡烛点燃，在烛光中齐声唱‘SILIENT NIGHT ’，感觉还是挺美的。可
是第一次在美国的教堂过圣诞，不知道他们还有一个环节是捐款。我们 |

昨天我们第一次去那里滑雪，晚上6点钟返回的。在crystal mountain blvd上，有好几
次大风把树上的雪刮起来，车前面飘满了雪花，几乎完全看不到路，每次持续几秒钟的
样子。好在当时开的慢，所以没有造成任何危险。
想问一下，那个路上这样是常态吗？

发帖数: 106 | 49 前两天和同事去了CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN， WASHINGTON。这一季的第一次，觉得人生完整
了。
搬来WA大概六个月了，还一直没去过CRYSTAL,一直觉得是个遗憾。终于忙中偷闲安排了
一天。
我的同事比我大十岁但体力超强，而且是个BACKCOUNTRY EXPERT，哥们SUMMIT过HOOD和
RAINIER二十多次，我说大爷你别别滑的太疯狂。
雪况，大概山下31度，山顶25度。山顶有风。三天下了12寸，头天下了6寸。滑雪当天
下了一整天雪。
大概9：30到的，看样子大概有50辆车比我们先到了。山上基本没什么人。这地方比我
想象的大多了。
前两个RUN，感觉我根本不知道怎么滑。因为对雪的感觉不适应而且我们在比较低的位
置。雪明显重， 容易被陷住。后来我们往山顶去了，能见度明显的不好，有雾。这里
山脚的高度大概4000，山顶大概7000。中间5000-6000的位置是比较好的，雪干，而且
没有雾。我们在半山的一个LIFT找到了最好的地段，滑了大概8个RUN。然后吃的午饭。
午饭后我们去了NORTHWAY LIFT。一个比较新的DOUBLE LIFT。它的开放给这个RESO |

发帖数: 6130 | 50 Oh and Whistler has good stuff like excellent restaurants wheras Crystal has
none :P It has a couple of mediocre ones. So if you want to ski and enjoy a
nice trip, Whistler is a much better choice. If you are just about skiiing
then I would goto Crystal - way closer and has good blue runs. |
