发帖数: 1574 | 11 教会提供语言培训、强化的传教培训和食宿，但是其他很多费用要自掏腰包的。每晚8点（还是9点？忘了）就要curfew.白天就是敲门去传教，周末去教会。
另外：甚至连去哪里不是你自己定的，而是通知“先知祷告“来定的。
我知道有个摩门女孩被先知派去Mongolia,让这个18年都没离开过本州的女孩totally freaked out。然后你猜她怎么做？她匆忙决定跟教内的一个弟兄结婚了，因为结了婚的妇人就不用履行去传教的义务了。真人真事。我每次想起她，都会有点小小的担心。
好处当然也有，比如间接促进文化交流。我认识几个男孩子去韩国传教，带回来了韩国女孩当新娘。我graduate school最好的一个朋友是摩门，他去的南非，娶了个黑人女孩。我还在他家看过他们的婚礼录像。当然，那些回来之后入职CIA的，恐怕会让那些国家的人寒心，觉得被“文化侵略“了。
有些摩门教的新人听不得任何对教会的批评，误以为我对他们教会有偏见，甚至反对“美好的教训“（这些美好的教训别的宗教没有吗？呼--）。其实，我只不过是看到了the whole picture，而已。 |
